WWE released a handful of videos highlighting the first set of Cruiserweight tournament tapings.
Included is an interview with Daniel Bryan, who is returning to WWE TV as co-host of the Network series.
Bryan stressed the tournament featuring the best wrestlers from their respective countries coming together for one tournament. And, it will be interesting to see wrestlers with Lucha backgrounds facing guys with British technical wrestling skills.
Asked who he thinks will stand out in the tournament, Bryan picked Kota Ibushi, Zack Sabre, Jr., Drew Gulak, and the guy who he wants to see win – Brian Kendrick since they broke into the business together.
WWE also released a second video of Bryan meeting the Cruiserweight tournament roster, stopping to converse with T.J. Perkins.
Then, Bryan had a conversation with Finn Balor and Zack Sabre, Jr., Shinsuke Nakamura and Funaki, and Triple H and Brian Kendrick.
Hunter had a casual conversation with Bryan about the scouting process trying to find video of certain guys they thought had potential, but never heard of.
