Injured WWE star Neville made his in-ring return at Tuesday night’s Smackdown taping in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Neville returned to the ring in a dark match prior to the start of the Main Event portion of the tapings, so it was not taped for Main Event or Smackdown TV.
Neville faced Bo Dallas of the Social Outcasts in his return match, flashing back to their memorable NXT feud.
Neville is advertised to face Chris Jericho at this Saturday’s MSG show in New York City, so WWE gave Neville a warm-up match to knock the rust off before the big stage against Jericho.
