ROH World Title match official for next ROH PPV

Ring of Honor officially announced Monday the next ROH World Title match.

It will be Jay Lethal vs. Adam Cole for the ROH Title at the “Death Before Dishonor” PPV on August 19 in Las Vegas.

Lethal will be debuting a bald head on ROH PPV after being shaved by Cole and the Bullet Club building to the title match.

August 19 “Death Before Dishonor” PPV – Las Vegas

  • ROH World Title match: Jay Lethal vs. Adam Cole
  • NEVER Openweight champion Shibata vs. Silas Young
  • ROH TV Title match: Bobby Fish vs. Mark Briscoe

August 20 DBD Post-PPV TV taping – Las Vegas

August 27 Field of Honor – Brooklyn, N.Y.

  • Shibata vs. Kyle O’Reilly
  • ROH vs. Bullet Club: Motor City Machineguns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) & A.C.H. & Lio Rush vs. Bullet Club (Young Bucks & Hangman Page & Yujiro Takahashi) in an eight-man tag match

  1. The timing of that announcement could have been a lot better, considering that it was just on this week’s ROH TV that McGuinness announced that Cole would NEVER get an ROH Title shot as long as he’s in charge.
