Week 2 of WWE Raw in the “New Era” fell 28-36 percent in social media activity.

WWE Raw Social Media Tracking

August 1: Raw was unable to sustain a hot start to the brand split era last Monday.

Raw drew 170,000 tweets, down 36 percent from last week. The volume was slightly below the pre-Draft Raw on July 18.

Also, the number of unique authors tweeting about Raw was 34,000, down 27 percent from last week. The number of Raw uniques nearly matched last week’s Smackdown Live premiere – 33,000 authors.

– In Nielsen’s Twitter TV rankings, Raw took it on the chin against the season finale of “The Bachelorette” on ABC.

After battling back-and-forth for the most social media activity on Monday nights for the past several weeks, ABC’s show tripled Raw in tweet volume for the finale.
