Monday’s WWE Raw got its first treatment of Nielsen’s new “Social Content Ratings” reporting Twitter TV Ratings and Facebook interactions…

WWE Raw Social Media Tracking

August 8: WWE Raw ranked #1 among series & specials on Monday night. But, the Olympics dwarfed Raw by 33 times in the sporting events category.

Raw’s total social media audience broke down as such:

Twitter

– 28,000 uniques, down from 34,000 last week.

– 151,000 tweets, down from 170,000 last week.

The tweets-per-person average was 5.4, up from 5.0 last week, so slightly more engagement, but fewer people tweeting about Raw.

Facebook

– 153,000 uniques and 221,000 interactions.

It averages out to 1.4 interactions per person. Apparently this is standard, as last week’s Smackdown averaged 1.6 interactions per person.

The number of Facebook uniques beating the total number of tweets from Raw also captures the scale of Facebook having a much larger audience than Twitter.

Total Audience

– 181,000 uniques and 372,000 interactions.

It averages out to 2.1 tweets/interactions per person talking about Raw in the Big Two social media outlets.
