AAW “Cero Miedo” Results

This was Tommaso Ciampa’s send-off show before joining the WWE roster full-time. Colt Cabana was also featured on the undercard of a special Thursday night show at the Berwyn Eagles Club before 400 fans.

(1) Dave Crist (w/J.T. Davidson) beat D.J. Zema at 7:49.

(2) Colt Cabana beat Shigehiro Irie at 9:45.

(3) Michael Elgin beat Cedric Alexander at 15:54.

(4) Zack Sabre, Jr. submitted Silas Young at 12:47.

(5) Fenix beat Sami Callihan via DQ at 12:36 when Callihan ripped off Fenix’s mask. Pentagon, Jr. came out to make the save afterward.

(6) Chris Hero beat Drew Galloway at 17:37. This was originally Hero vs. Tommy End, but Galloway answered an open challenge.

(7) AAW Hvt. champion Pentagon, Jr. beat Tommaso Ciampa at 13:02 to retain the AAW Hvt. Title.

After the match, Pentagon, Jr. got on the mic to thank Ciampa and credit him for the work he has done in AAW. The two men hugged in the ring, and Pentagon raised the arm of Ciampa. Pentagon then gave the mic to Ciampa. Ciampa reflected on his journey through ROH and AAW before going full-time with WWE NXT.  Zack Sabre, Jr., Michael Elgin, Chris Hero, Cedric Alexander, Fenix, and Pentagon Jr. all hit the ring to give their thanks to Ciampa. Ciampa then went out to ringside to personally thank the fans.

[ FYI: AAW returns to 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, Illinois on Friday, September 16 for “Defining Moment.” Already announced is an AAW Tag Team Championship match between Besties in the World (Mat Fitchett & Davey Vega) and OI4K (Dave and Jake Crist), plus Abyss vs. Sami Callihan, and Matt Riddle vs. Jeff Cobb. Also scheduled to appear are Trevor Lee, Andrew Everett, Drew Gulak, Jack Evans, and Prince Ali. Tickets for this event as well as more information can be found at AAWrestling.com.
