Backlash update – Randy Orton scratched from Backlash PPV

Randy Orton has been scratched from the Backlash PPV Sunday night.

Orton was scheduled for one of the big matches of the show against Bray Wyatt and WWE was promoting the match extensively on Sunday afternoon.

However, the word from the building is Orton has lingering concussion issues.

PWTorch correspondent Ben Tucker live at the building reports that Orton was questionable as of Sunday afternoon. The Wrestling Observer confirmed that Orton has been scratched. WWE has yet to acknowledge Orton’s status, reserving the right to run an injury angle on the Backlash PPV.
