9/13 WWE Smackdown TV Ratings – did SD Live beat Raw this week?

The perfect storm of Monday’s Raw going head-to-head to Week 1 of the NFL & DWTS combined with a post-PPV Smackdown featuring a new WWE champion produced a near-ratings victory for Smackdown.

WWE Raw TV Ratings Tracking

September 13: WWE Smackdown scored a 1.86 TV rating after the Backlash PPV, up from a 1.76 rating on Labor Day week.

Smackdown’s 1.86 nearly beat Monday’s Raw, which scored an historically-low 1.88 TV rating.

Smackdown drew 2.658 million viewers, up about 200,000 viewers (8.3 percent) from last week’s audience.

Smackdown was close to Raw, which averaged 2.690 million viewers over its three hours on Monday night.

– DEMOGRAPHICS: Smackdown jumped one-tenth of a rating among adults 18-49. Smackdown also increased less-than-a-tenth in males 18-34 and males 18-49.

This week’s Raw and Smackdown airings were very close in the key demos, with Raw holding a slight edge…

  • Adults 18-49: Raw 0.92 vs. SD 0.91
  • Males 18-34: Raw 0.98 vs. SD 0.92
  • Males 18-49: Raw 1.09 vs. SD 1.04
