WWE announced Tuesday that injured NXT star “The Drifter” Elias Samson is returning to action this weekend.
Samson is scheduled for the NXT show in Lakeland, Florida on Thursday night.
Samson has been sidelined for about four months dating back to when he fractured his left ankle at the beginning of June.
The Drifter was listed as “out indefinitely” since it was unknown how long it would take for his ankle to heal after initially being placed in a cast.
NXT Weekend Schedule
- Thursday, Sept. 29: Lakeland, Fla.
- Friday, Sept. 30: Orlando, Fla.
- Saturday, Oct. 1: Largo, Fla.
