UFC president Dana White suggested in a quick TMZ interview that there will be something next for C.M. Punk in the UFC, but they have to decide what that is.

White said Punk called him after his UFC 203 debut loss on September 10, prompting a brief conversation to let things settle down before deciding what’s next.

“I got to talk to him,” White told TMZ while in New York City for the UFC 205 press conference. “He called me the night of the fight – we talked – he was on his way home. I told him to spend some time with his wife (A.J. Lee) and live like a normal person for a little while. And then we’ll get on the phone and talk about what’s next for him.”
