SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-Keith Lee was advertised for his final ROH appearances last week in San Antonio on Feb. 2 and Dallas on Feb. 3 in his hometown. According to multiple sources, ROH officials had decided earlier in the week not to use him on Saturday, but for some reason this was never communicated to Lee until Friday night.

Lee teamed with Shane Taylor as scheduled to face The Briscoes on Friday in a match that was set up at ROH’s TV Tapings in January. When Lee got his check for the show on Friday, he noticed he had only been paid for one match.

Lee attempted to find out what the plans were for him in Dallas on Friday. According to one source, Lee couldn’t find ROH booker Delirious to find out what was going on. Eventually an ROH official informed Lee he was off of the show on Friday. Another source noted that if Lee had been able to wrestle in Dallas, he would have been able to say goodbye to the company in front of his hometown fans.

One longtime ROH wrestler noted that they were happy that Lee was done with the coming. Many wrestlers were unhappy last month when ROH signed Shane Taylor to a contract, but Lee ended up announcing he was going to sign with EVOLVE. Lee made the announcement in January on his Twitter account a day after the ROH TV tapings had taken place.

-Both ROH events from last weekend, “Undisputed Legacy” and “Honor Reigns Supreme,” have already been made available for purchase on VOD at ROHWrestling.com.

-In an update on Bobby Fish, multiple sources have confirmed with PWTorch that Fish signed a short-term deal with the company. We reported the Fish signing last month, but additional details about the contract were unavailable. The exact length of the contract is unknown at this time, but according to one well-placed source it was for no more than a few months.

-ROH has announced some big matches for their upcoming events. On Feb. 11 in Pittsburgh, Bullet Club (ROH World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks & Cody Rhodes & ROH World Champion Adam Cole) vs. Jay Lethal & Bobby Fish & The Briscoes will headline the show. Also scheduled to take place is what appears to be Donovan Dijak’s final ROH match unless they run a short-term angle where he holds the TV Title hostage, which was hinted on in a video Dijak posted on his Twitter account this week. Dijak is set to take on Marty Scurll for the ROH World TV Title on the show.

On Feb. 12, ROH is running an event in Columbus, Ohio. The show is headlined by The Young Bucks defending the ROH World Tag Team Titles against War Machine.

The company is also running a loaded card as they present “Manhattan Mayhem” on March 4 in New York one week before their next PPV takes place. The show is headlined by a double main event of ROH World Champion Adam Cole vs. Bobby Fish and ROH World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks vs. Jay White & Lio Rush. Also announced for the show is Will Ospreay vs. Dragon Lee.
