NEWS ITEMS: A Trump-loving villain in Mexico interviewed on CNN, Paul Orndorff on big Canada tour, Niagara Falls Comic Con featuring NWO reunion and Ryback

-The Legends of Wrestling Reunion, taking place inside the Niagara Falls Comic Con June 2-4, 2017, will be headlined by WWE Hall of Famer Sting. Also taking place is an NWO reunion featuring Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman. Additional wrestling guests include “Mean” Gene Okerlund, Tito Santana, and Ryback. [Thanks to James Ponce]

-Canadian Wrestling’s Elite has announced an 8th Anniversary Tour headlined by the man who headlined the first-ever WrestleMania, “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff. Although he missed this weekend’s “Legends of Wrestling” convention due to travel issues, he’s been booked for sixteen events across four Canadian provinces from April 21-May 6. Orndorff will be participating in meet and greet sessions prior to the events allowing fans the opportunity for pictures and autographs. For a full list of dates, check out www.cwecanada.ca.

-Sam Polinksy is wrestling in Mexico as a President Trump loving heel. He was interviewed on CNN by Don Lemon. He said during his career he was a “ladies’ man” along the lines of Ric Flair or Jesse Ventura up until now. He said he saw an opportunity to be a foreign villain in Mexico by coming out to the ring with an American flag with Trump’s face on it. He said the fans gravitated to it with anger. “Most people appreciate the value of a good bad guy in pro wrestling,” he said. Check out the video interview HERE.
