SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Monday’s episode of WWE Raw drew a 1.88 rating, down slightly from the 1.89 and 1.90 the previous two weeks, despite a big main event tag match of Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe & Bray Wyatt. Monday’s rating is well below the 2.16 ten-week rolling average headed into this week. The May average is 1.92 so far, well below each monthly average so far this year – starting with January and ending with April: 2.21, 2.18, 2.21, 2.32.

The dropoff from the first hour to the third hour was 236,000,in line with the 233,000 average for the year so far.

A year ago, Raw drew a 2.29 rating, so this week’s rating is a drop of 18 percent from that number.

Keller’s Analysis: This is the fourth week in a row the Raw rating is below 2.0. The last time it fell below 2.0 was the day after Christmas last year. The Raw rating was below 2.0 five straight weeks from late September to early October last year. Next week is Memorial Day, and despite loading the show, it’s likely the rating will be below 2.0 yet again. It’ll be the next week that they have a chance not to break the five-week-below-2.o record set last fall.
