UNLIKELY ALLIANCES… UNHOLY GRUDGES”

The relationship between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins is about to take an interesting detour. It seems like eons ago that the architect betrayed his former Shield-mate to align with the authority, and the two even teamed up at Survivor Series and on last week’s Raw. However, blood in the water never fully dissipates. Both men may be okay with each other as of this morning, but the prize of slaying THE BEAST is the only objective they care about. These two put on a great showing at Money in the Bank last summer, and tonight’s rematch should be just as entertaining.

The other three men involved in the Fatal-5 way elimination at Extreme Rules will clash in a triple-threat tonight in Greensville. Finn Balor has a new confidence since his pep talk by Brock’s hype man Paul Heyman. (He defeated Karl Anderson shortly afterwards in convincing fashion.) Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt currently seem to be on the same page, but like Seth and Roman, that newfound partnership will only last for so long. While there are early favorites to win the big #1 contenders match on Sunday, with this lineup of talent, it really is anyone’s game.

“NEVER REMEMBER, ALWAYS FORGET.”

-Alexa Bliss seems unstoppable on her path to defending her title and Bayley will need to up her viciousness if she plans on even having a chance. (Things on poles are stupid. Always.)

-Ambrose and Miz are preparing for a MUCH LESS extreme matchup. Without a champions advantage (if he’s DQ’d he loses his belt) the lunatic fringe will have to stay calm and focused if he plans on walking away the I.C. champion. Unfortunately for him, Miz is REALLY good and making you want to break all the rules and smash his face with a hammer.

-Goldust has returned to his former ways. That’s not good news for anybody, especially his old tag-partner R-Truth. Will Truth try to exact revenge? My guess is they’ll be the PRE-SHOW MAIN EVENT PLAYAS. #thatsWHATSup

-WHO ATTACKED ENZO AMORE?!?!?! IT WAS HALL AND NASH WASN’T IT?!?!?

-If anyone needs a strong showing tonight it’s Cesaro and Sheamus. They may have run the gauntlet on the division to earn another title opportunity, but they haven’t been able to defeat the Hardys even in singles competition. Sunday they’ll be trapped in a cage, and if they’re smart, they won’t allow Brother Nero anywhere near the tippy top.

-Austin Aries only has to wait six more days before he finally gets his hands on Neville, and hopefully, the Cruiserweight Championship. That is…if he doesn’t get crippled or assassinated first.

Summer is slowly approaching. Why not cool off with some Raw?
