“6 WAYS TO DIE”

Since they were announced, the Superstars competing for the MITB briefcase have been a constant thorn in each others’ sides. Shinsuke Nakamura keeps besting Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin is a bully and will attack you when you’re not looking, A.J. Styles has morphed into the perfect protagonist, Sami Zayn forever the underdog, and Dolph Ziggler… he’s around also. Tonight at the Smoothie King Center, the WWE Universe will get to see all six guys in action at once, as Team Babyface takes on Team Heel in tag-team action. With this being the go home show before Money in the Bank, expect to see ALL OF THE FINISHERS.

NATIVE TONGUES; DEADLY FACE/OFFS”

The winner of the briefcase gets a shot at a time of their choosing for the WWE Championship. Who will hold that prestigious belt will be determined after Sunday’s rematch between the Maharaja and the Apex Predator. The pendulum could honestly swing in favor of either man: Jinder hasn’t lost a match since he became #1 contender, but Randy will be fighting extra hard in his hometown of St. Louis. Also Sunday is Father’s Day, so neither man wants to disappoint. Until then, we’ll see them exchange some words, and possibly an RKO or two, tonight in New Orleans as they are scheduled to come face to face.

“THE LEGACY OF YOUR LEGACY IS MY LEGACY”

For weeks, the ladies of the Blue Vrand have pushed each other past their physical limits. The carnage they left each other in was so vicious, Commissioner Shane McMahon decided to make history and present us with the first-ever women’s MITB ladder match. The Welcoming Committee has been as fluid a faction as anyone could hope for, but how will they fair when they are forced to face one another? I’d hope that some of that dissension would have been implemented in the storyline by this point, but it’s been more about the lineage of the women competing. Two of the deepest ties to the business will once again square off as Queen Charlotte takes on Natalya Neidhart.

Meanwhile, the champion looks to go into Money in the Bank with some momentum as she takes on Tamina Snuka. Naomi better watch her back, though, because her opponent on Sunday, Lana, will be looking to play mind games until then.

ISH”

-Speaking of tag team action, the champs will have their biggest test to date when they defend their blue gold against The New Day. However, SD Live’s hottest duo Breezango are still deep on the case of the Samoans’ fashion sense while also trying to figure out just what in the hell the Colons are trying to accomplish in life. Fortunately for everybody, an eight-man tag was announced for tonight. The Fashion Files before that should be legend… wait for it… dary.

-Mojo Rawley finally got to see some ring time last week, but wasn’t able to defeat Jinder Mahal and enter the MITB match. Where does the Andre the Giant Battle Royal winner go from here?

-WHERE… THE… #$%&… IS… TYE… DILLINGER? Honestly, though?! Why he’s not showing up on a weekly basis just seems like sabotage at this point.

-The cruiserweights better keep their eyes open, because King Neville has made it his mission to decimate everyone in his path, specifically, Akira Tozawa.

That’s the lineup for the show. No NBA or NHL game to compete with, so hopefully tonight’s go-home show is a banger. Will you be watching?
