Folks

I cannot tell a lie. It has been quite the busy week in the life of your resident Torch Indy Reporter. Between Lounge commitments and trying to stay abreast of indy news, in addition to a long, demanding week of work (the kind that pays the Koeller household bills), time has spread thin this week. Thus, I will cut to the chafe and save any sort of witty (or non witty) banter for a later time. As for now, here goes some indy results / upcoming events! (look for more indy news in a following Indy Report soon):

Combat Zone Wrestling, Uprising, 10/11, Viking Hall - South Philadelphia PA
Dark Matches: Mercedes Martinez (w/ Rick Feinberg) defeated Summer. Chri$ Ca$h went over Cory Kastle and Jun-She the Kabuki Kid. In a Three Way Dance, Niles Young & Jude defeated the Broad Street Boozers (Adam Flash & Ian Knoxx) and Nick Berk & Z-Barr. DJ Hyde defeated Jon Dahmer (w/ Cory Kastle).
Regular Matches: Deranged wemt over Azrieal (w/ Jaime Setner). Jimmy Rave defeated Tony Mamaluke in an Iron Man Rules 20 Minute Match, two falls to one. In an inter-gender match, Sabian & Bianca defeated Mercedes Martinez (w/ Rick Feinberg) and Joker. CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion Ruckus defeated Rebel's Army member Derek Frazier (w/ Rebel) to retain the title. HIV Member B-Boy defeated Homicide. IWA Mid-South Lightheavyweight Champion Sonjay Dutt defeated Alex Shelley, Jimmy Jacobs, and CZW Iron Man Champion HIV Member Trent Acid to retain the title. In a Dog Collar Match, BJW Death Match Champion HIV Member Nate Hatred (w/ "Discount" Dewey Donovan) defeated "The Future of Hardcore" Nick Gage.

All Pro Wrestling Los Angeles, Halloween Hell Tour, 10/18, American Legion Hall - Newhall CA
Lil' Cholo defeated Steve Pain and Infernal. Vennis DeMarco beat Billy Blade. Babi Slymm went over Dana Lee. Disco Machine beat Joey Ryan. Scorpio Sky beat Scott Lost to win the APW-LA Lightweight Title. Frankie Kazarian beat Matt Stryker. Danny Daniels defeated Adam Pearce by count out to retain the IWA-MS Heavyweight Title. Super Dragon beat Vic Grimes.

National Wrestling Superstars, 10/24, Salem High School Salem NJ [est. attendance: 200+]
NWS Champion Triple B Bad Biggie Biggs defeated Magic. Chaos beat Joey the Bull. Latino Street (Chino Martinez & the Masked Mysterio) defeated White Lotus & Josh Daniels when Mysterio pinned Lotus. The New Odd-It-Tees (Glal-Gah & Short Sleeve Samson) went over Sal Sincere & Serena in an Inter-gender match when Samson pinned Serena after hitting "the worm". Crowbar topped Matt Stryker after Stryker tried using a chair (the ref took it away and tossed it outside the ring); Crowbar pinned Stryker. The Patriot defeated Saddam Insane in an International Flag Match; Patriot was accompanied to the ring by Short Sleeve Samson and half of the Salem Police Department.

Chasyn Rance & Eight Ball beat Rico Casanova & Angel of Darkness. Manny Montana went over Chris Michaels. Unchained Outlaws beat Deathrow Jeathrow & Barney Rumble. Rick the Reaper & Snowman defeated
Wildman Brody & Kubiak. Brian Gamble defeated Kahagas & Manny Montana. Chris Michaels topped Wade Bass. Ryze & Unchained Outlaws beat Thump Dupree, Chris Michaels, & Alex Porteau.

Adam Flash defeated Axel Fury. In a Ladder Match, HIV Member B-Boy defeated Sonjay Dutt. In a CZW Iron Man rules match (most falls within 20 minutes wins), CZW Iron Man Champion HIV Member Trent Acid defeated CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion Ruckus two falls to one to retain the title. In a Tables Match (where the objective is to put your opponent through the most tables), "The Future of Hardcore" Nick Gage defeated HIV Member Nate Hatred two tables to one. In a CZW World Heavyweight Title Match, Zandig defeated HIV Member Messiah to become the new Champion. Sonjay Dutt & CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion Ruckus defeated HIV Members CZW Iron Man Champion Trent Acid & B-Boy.
*Note from the show: Adam Flash is the newest member of the HIV joining the ranks of Messiah, Trent Acid, Johnny Kashmere, Nate Hatred, B-Boy, and their manager "Discount" Dewey Donovan.
NOTE: Japan News - Fuyuki Army President Go Ito stated that John Zandig & his CZW crew are now part of the Apache Army as their United States affiliates, and, they will be representing them in Zero-One in December.

NWA Wildside, Fright Night 2003, NWA Arena Cornelia GA [est. gate: sell out]
Onyx captured the NWA Wildside Heavyweight Championship. AJ Styles was beaten by NWA Wildside Television Champion Rainman. Altar Boy Luke & Gabriel beat Slash and Azrael.

On the card: In a Bunkhouse Brawl Bulldof Raines & Tank vs. The Dobbins Brothers (w/ Al Getxz), Jeremy V & Brandon P vs. Nemesis & Shadow, Todd Sexton & Masada vs. Nick Halen & Jay Fury, Ray Gordy (w/ Salvatore Rinauro) defends the Junior Title vs. Slim J, Caprice Coleman and Gabriel vs. Rainman & Azrael. Murder 1 plans to hurt somebody, Kool Seth Delay vs. Jerrell Clark, Onyx defends the World Championship vs. Mikal Adryan, Jacey North wants Jeff Lewis in a match, and more. Every Friday at the NWA Arena: tickets are only $5 and kids under 12 are free.

American Wrestling Federation: 11/1
Press Release - American Wrestling Federation returns to action on Saturday, November 1st at 8 p.m. at the Roulhac Community Center in Chipley. Scheduled on the card: In an Iron Man match - AWF Heavyweight Champion Aeon Flexx defends his title against Rugged Ronnie Fargo. Donnie Fargo will be handcuffed to Awesome Al Savage. Commando and Confederate Kid defend the Tag Team Championship. Mr. Fantasy defends the TV Title against Jon Byson. Forsaken meets Ryan Fury for the Junior Heavyweight belt. This will be a TV Taping, so attending fans should bring posters. Tickets are $6 for general admission seats and $7 for ringside seats. For information, interested parties should call 850-638-7183.

International Championship Wrestling: 11/21
Press Release - It will be another night to remember in the Temple Theater on Friday, November 21st as the 2nd Annual Rage in the Cage event will take place. Every match will be held inside of a 10 foot high steel cage. Tickets for the biggest night of the year in ICW will be available at all Ticketmaster locations, or, at Ticketmaster Charge By Phone @ 253-627-TIXS. Tickets are also available at the Temple Box Office in the Landmark Convention Center [47 St Helens St.; 272-2042]. Ringside and The Slammers Lounge are $15 and general admission is $10.
