WWE Draft - July 19, 2016 (c) WWE.com

Prior to the WWE Draft, WWE released a full roster break down of eligible Draft picks. Everyone was drafted except for Heath Slater.

– Injured roster members who were not drafted include Luke Harper, Emma, Tamina, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, and Tyson Kidd.

– Ryback, who is still officially on the roster, was not drafted.

– The only part-timer drafted was Brock Lesnar. The Rock, Triple H, and The Undertaker were not eligible to be drafted.

– The Club faction was split up. A.J. Styles is on Smackdown and Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows are on Raw.

– Finn Balor headlined the NXT call-ups along with American Alpha, Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, Mojo Rawley, and Carmella.

WWE did not introduce an element of why top NXT stars such as Shinsuke Nakamura, NXT champion Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, etc. were not drafted, such as NXT GM William Regal protecting certain Draft picks.

– The only tag team split up was the Social Outcasts. Bo Dallas was drafted first to Raw, then Curtis Axel was later drafted to Raw, while Heath Slater was not drafted at all.

Slater would have been the 60th pick to complete the Draft. WWE ended with 59 total picks.

  1. “The only tag team split up was the Social Outcasts.”

I’m sure the Lucha Dragons got split up as well didn’t they?
