WWE has released pro wrestler Enzo Amore (Eric Arndt) without further comment. In an unusually terse statement, WWE.com reports: “WWE has come to terms on the release of Eric Arndt (Enzo Amore).”

This comes a day after WWE confirmed the suspension of Enzo coinciding with widespread media coverage of the rape allegations made against him from an alleged incident last fall in Phoenix, Ariz.

  1. You almost have to believe he’d have probably only been suspended until the investigation was completed, if he didn’t already come with so many other headaches for the company.

As far as the product goes, I couldn’t care less about the Cruiserweight Division- and he never did anything to move the needle for me. If they can get Neville back, maybe I’d watch. Otherwise? Meh.

  2. Didn’t even get a “best wishes in future endeavors”. A lot of resources were put into Amore including the fate of the entire cruiser weight division and to a lesser extent, the Nia Jax angle and putting over Big Cass until Cass got hurt.

  3. I’m here in AZ and it’s likely he was fired because there is some pretty significant evidence against him at this point. Good news for him they have a special yard for sex offenders at the state prison in Florence.

  4. I can’t think of anyone else that went from Super Star to fuck up in record time like him. I hope it isn’t true what happened. However, he seems to have been a huge headache in the locker room. I loved Enzo and Big Cass and wished they wont the belts.
