[c]<\/p>\n<p>-\u201cPaid Advertisement\u201d from AEW.\u00a0 Tony Schiavone and Tony Kahn stood in front of a replica of the old Mid-Atlantic Wrestling interview set (the background had \u201cAll Elite Wrestling\u201d written on it).\u00a0 Schiavone touted Dynamite as last week\u2019s number one cable program.\u00a0 Tony Khan welcomed himself to the Impact audience and said it was great to be there.\u00a0 He said that since Kenny Omega was going to be on the show, he thought he would join him.\u00a0 He told Tony if he wanted to stop Omega from appearing, he absolutely could, but instead he wanted to help fund the Impact show via this paid ad.\u00a0 He said it would help Impact\u2019s bottom line and help to promote them.<\/p>\n<p>Khan said the only thing that he didn\u2019t like was how Omega won the belt.\u00a0 He called it a joke and disgraceful.\u00a0 Schiavone agreed.\u00a0 Khan said that Callis was welcome to show up on Dynamite.\u00a0 Khan said he handled Omega\u2019s travel arrangements to Impact and insincerely said \u201cwe\u2019re just really looking forward to seeing you, buddy\u201d.\u00a0 Then he plugged the matches for tomorrow\u2019s Dynamite.\u00a0 Khan mentioned that he had some investments in Nashville and that there were rumors that he might even buy Impact.\u00a0 Schiavone mentioned that he spent one night in Impact then he quit the business for 18 years.\u00a0 Khan said it was a pleasure to bring Schiavone back, then patted his shoulders.\u00a0 They plugged Sting\u2019s appearance on Dynamite and said Khan was looking forward to seeing Omega and Callis tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p><em>(D.L.\u2019s Analysis: Interesting development.\u00a0 Khan and Schiavone played subtle \u2013 and sometimes-not-so subtle\u2014heels to the Impact audience.\u00a0 Schiavone\u2019s line about leaving the business for 18 years after appearing in Impact was hilarious.\u00a0 It will be fun to see where this goes).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>(2) BRIAN MYERS vs. TJP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Josh plugged Myers\u2019 action figure podcast and holiday toy drive.\u00a0 Myers had the initial advantage, but TJP used his quickness to get the upper hand.\u00a0 Josh plugged the Impact stars on Cameo.\u00a0 TJP continued to baffle Myers with quick moves.\u00a0 Myers turned the tide with kicks and punches.\u00a0 TJP did a headstand in the corner and turned it into a headscissors.\u00a0 Then he dropkicked Myers on the outside before throwing him back in.<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-3939390976\" class=\"pwtor-content-1 pwtor-entity-placement\"><!-- Tag ID: pwtorchcom_test_300x600 -->\r\n<div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __300x600\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x600\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x600\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x600\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Josh plugged that Micro Brawlers figures would be available on Impact\u2019s site in January (they aren\u2019t shy about pushing merchandise knowing there will be more viewers this week).\u00a0 Myers knocked TJP off the top rope and to the floor.\u00a0 [c]<\/p>\n<p>TJP hit the Three Amigos on Myers, but Myers caught TJP with a jumping flatliner.\u00a0 TJP had Myers in a kneebar, but Myers reached the ropes.\u00a0 TJP splashed Myers off the top rope, but Myers got the knees up.\u00a0 TJP had Myers in a kneebar again.\u00a0 Myers threw the referee onto TJP to break the hold.\u00a0 Myers hit a big clothesline for the pin.<\/p>\n<p>WINNER: Brian Myers in 7:30.<\/p>\n<p><em>(D.L.\u2019s Analysis:\u00a0 Good match for two wrestlers who sometimes get lost in the mix.\u00a0 TJP\u2019s innovative offense is always fun to watch.\u00a0 Fans who had previously only seen Myers in WWE got a better look here at what he brings to the table).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>-Cody Deaner was backstage and told Cousin Jake he was ready for tonight\u2019s match.\u00a0 Cody said he wanted to go it alone.\u00a0 Cody said he needed to prove he wasn\u2019t a nobody and made Jake promise he wouldn\u2019t get involved. [c]<\/p>\n<p>-Backstage, Rohit Raju clowned TJP for his loss to Myers.\u00a0 Rohit touted himself as the greatest X Division champion ever.\u00a0 He said the last Beat Rohit Challenge of 2020 would be at Final Resolution and that everyone was invited except for TJP.\u00a0 Rohit said TJP\u2019s year might be 2021, but he doubts it.\u00a0 Rohit walked off, but TJP called him back.\u00a0 TJP wished Rohit good luck on his final Beat Rohit Challenge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(3) ERIC YOUNG (w\/Joe Doering) vs. CODY DEANER (w\/Cousin Jake)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cody charged Young at the bell but got caught with an elbow.\u00a0 Cody battled back with punches and kicks and screamed \u201cI\u2019m not a nobody\u201d.\u00a0 Young took over after Cody missed a charge in the corner.\u00a0 Young put Cody in a Death Valley Driver for a two count.\u00a0 Cody got a sunset flip for a two count, but Young battled right back.\u00a0 Young slapped Cody and Cody fired up.\u00a0 Cody got out of a DDT attempt and went on offense.<\/p>\n<p>Cody climbed to the top but got distracted by Doering.\u00a0 Cody missed a splash off the top and Young delivered a piledriver for the three count.<\/p>\n<p>WINNER: Eric Young in 4:00.<\/p>\n<p>After the match, Young and Doering attacked Cody.\u00a0 Jake got in the ring and got beaten up too.\u00a0 Rhino ran in with a pipe for the save.\u00a0 Cody looked despondent after the match.<\/p>\n<p><em>(D.L.\u2019s Analysis: Short match which served to solidify Young and Doering as a heel force.\u00a0 Cody is usually a comic character, but he did a great job playing it serious.\u00a0 I suspect a heel turn might be on the horizon).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>-Tommy Dreamer and John E. Bravo were arguing backstage.\u00a0 Dreamer approached XXXL. Larry D challenged Dreamer to a match at Final Resolution.\u00a0 If Larry wins he goes free for the shooting of Larry D.\u00a0 Dreamer accepted\u00a0the match. [c]<\/p>\n<p>-Dreamer approached Scott D\u2019Amore in an office.\u00a0 Dreamer was concerned about what was going on with Callis and Omega.\u00a0 He said Callis is always out for himself and he was concerned about the locker room.\u00a0 D\u2019Amore didn\u2019t care because one of the biggest stars in wrestling was now on their show.\u00a0 He said even Lance Storm liked the idea and he doesn\u2019t like anything.\u00a0 D\u2019Amore suggested that Dreamer just go along for the ride.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(4) DEONNNA PURRAZZO &amp; KIMBER LEE vs. TAYA VALKYRIE &amp; ROSEMARY\u00a0 (Knockouts Tag Team Tournament match)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Purrazzo and Rosemary started it off, with Rosemary getting the initial advantage.\u00a0 Rosemary broke an armlock and both wrestlers tagged out.\u00a0 Kimber Lee got the advantage over Taya and tagged out to Purrazzo.\u00a0 Josh and Madison discussed the wrestlers in the Knockouts division.\u00a0 Kimber Lee tied up Taya in a submission.\u00a0 Taya made a comeback but couldn\u2019t make the tag.<\/p>\n<p>Purrazzo and Kimber Lee tagged in and out and kept Taya from making a tag.\u00a0 Taya finally got the tag and Rosemary took over on Purrazzo.\u00a0 Purrazzo and Kimber Lee double teamed Rosemary but Rosemary made a comeback and was joined by Taya.\u00a0 All four wrestlers fought in the ring.\u00a0 Purrazzo accidentally kicked Kimber Lee, then Rosemary speared Purrazzo.\u00a0 Rosemary got Kimber Lee in a double under hook and slammed her down for the victory.<\/p>\n<p>WINNERS: Taya Valkyrie &amp; Rosemary in 7:30.<\/p>\n<p><em>(D.L.\u2019s Analysis: Good match and all four wrestlers have great ring presence.\u00a0 Much like Brian Myers in the earlier match, fans who were unfamiliar with Deonna Purrazzo before her NXT run were probably impressed).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>-Alisha Edwards, Tenille Dashwood, and Kaleb were backstage.\u00a0 Tenille was trying to come up with ideas for their team, but Alisha said if she was a real partner she would notice that Alisha\u2019s husband had gotten beaten up by Sami Callihan.\u00a0 Tenille and Kaleb said Alisha was off the team to teach her a lesson.\u00a0 Alisha said if they wanted to teach her a lesson, they could do it later.\u00a0 They agreed. [c]<\/p>\n<p>-Purrazzo and Kimber Lee complained to Scott D\u2019Amore backstage.\u00a0 D\u2019Amore said that Purrazzo would defend the Knockouts title against Rosemary at Final Resolution.<\/p>\n<p>-Sami Callihan was in the ring.\u00a0 He bragged about being the best wrestler in Impact and said he made the company what it is today.\u00a0 He talked about how he made news when he attacked Eddie Edwards with a baseball bat.\u00a0 The footage was shown on the big screen.\u00a0 He said Eddie never learns.\u00a0 He said that he attacked Eddie again to drive up ratings.\u00a0 He asked for footage of that attack to be shown.<\/p>\n<p>Alisha Edwards walked to the ring instead.\u00a0 Sami said if she stepped in the ring, he would break her freaking neck.\u00a0 Alisha said she didn\u2019t come alone.\u00a0 Eddie attacked Sami from behind.\u00a0 Eddie took the bat.\u00a0 He swung at Sami but missed.\u00a0 Sami ran off.<\/p>\n<p>-An aerial view of the bus was shown again and Josh said the most anticipated interview in wrestling history would be coming up. [c]<\/p>\n<p>-Eddie and Alisha were backstage.\u00a0 Alisha said she took care of his problem, now it was his turn to take care of her problem.\u00a0 They walked off.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(5) CHRIS BEY &amp; MOOSE vs. RICH SWANN &amp; WILLIE MACK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Josh informed new viewers that Moose hadn\u2019t actually won the TNA belt; he just declared himself the champion.\u00a0 Swann and Bey started it off.\u00a0 After some fast back and forth action, Swan got the upper hand. [c]<\/p>\n<p>Back from the break, Mack had an offensive flurry on Moose.\u00a0 Moose turned it around and did two Rock Bottoms on Mack.\u00a0 Moose powerbombed Bey on Mack to score a two count.\u00a0 Bey kept the advantage over Mack, then tagged Moose back in.\u00a0 Moose continued to attack Mack and taunted Swann.\u00a0 Bey and Moose tagged in and out.\u00a0 Moose screamed at his own partner.<\/p>\n<p>Mack got two stunners on Moose and tagged out to Swann.\u00a0 After an offensive flurry by Swann, Moose powerbomed Swann then tagged out to Bey.\u00a0 Swann took on Bey and Moose by himself.\u00a0 Swann tagged in Mack.\u00a0 Mack missed a splash off the top rope.\u00a0 All four took turns fighting in the ring.\u00a0 Moose speared Mack and punched him repeatedly.\u00a0 Swann kicked Moose off.\u00a0 Bey crawled over and pinned Mack.<\/p>\n<p>WINNERS: Chris Bey &amp; Moose in 8:00.<\/p>\n<p>-Josh and Madison appeared on camera and said they were minutes away from making history. [c]<\/p>\n<p>-Rich Swann (carrying his Impact title) approached a member of security who was in front of double doors.\u00a0 The security guy said Swann couldn\u2019t enter because the parking lot was blocked off for the champion.\u00a0 Swann thought he was referring to Moose.\u00a0 The security guy said he meant Kenny Omega.\u00a0 Josh Matthews walked by and security let him through because he was on the list.\u00a0 Swann attempted to walk through, but the security guy told him again that he wasn\u2019t on the list.\u00a0 Swann left.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KENNY OMEGA INTERVIEW<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Josh Matthews walked onto the bus.\u00a0 Don Callis and Kenny Omega walked through a door and joined him.\u00a0 They all sat on a sofa.\u00a0 Callis changed the name plate of the AEW belt to Omega\u2019s.\u00a0 Omega was being obnoxious.\u00a0 Josh asked how long their plan had been in the works.\u00a0 Callis cut him off and went back to the name plate.\u00a0 Omega offered the Jon Moxley name plate to Josh, then threw it on the floor.<\/p>\n<p>Callis said the plan started 27 years ago when he was trained by Omega\u2019s uncle, The Golden Sheik.\u00a0 Someone off camera put a picture of Callis and the Sheik on the table behind them.\u00a0 Callis said that the Sheik introduced him to a ten-year-old Omega.\u00a0 Callis said he takes care of Omega like the Sheik took care of Callis.<\/p>\n<p>Callis asked if people really thought he came back to wrestling five years ago for a podcast and to announce New Japan Pro Wrestling.\u00a0 He talked about being invited to Tony Khan\u2019s house to do the guest announcing on the AEW shows.\u00a0 He said he and Omega changed history and that Omega\u2019s match against Chris Jericho in NJPW led to the formation of AEW.\u00a0 Omega agreed.<\/p>\n<p>Callis said the fans should thank them for the creation of AEW.\u00a0 He said they changed the course of history by making Omega the world champion.\u00a0 Josh asked if what happened on Wednesday would tarnish Omega\u2019s legacy.\u00a0 Callis and Omega were outraged.\u00a0 Josh asked the question again.\u00a0 Omega asked Josh what he would do if someone attacked his father or a father figure.\u00a0 Omega said he got angry because Jon Moxley put his hands on Callis and that he was a little pissed off at Josh too.<\/p>\n<p>Omega said he didn\u2019t tarnish his legacy.\u00a0 He said he had the top matches all around the world and listed the countries.\u00a0 He took off his sunglasses and said he was getting angry.\u00a0 Omega said he was in Impact because he could.\u00a0 He said as a child, he was a collector.\u00a0 He quit collecting comic books because he couldn\u2019t get the most rare and valuable ones.\u00a0 Now he had the most valuable prize of them all.<\/p>\n<p>He talked about having fun and maybe adding some titles to his collection.\u00a0 Omega said they had a big announcement on tomorrow\u2019s Dynamite show.\u00a0 He said if you thought the Lex Express was riding in style, you should see what he has planned for tomorrow.\u00a0 Callis asked for one clue;
