I had a lot of people recommend everything from baking soda and ozone therapy and all of these different things, but in the end I learned all my lessons from Steve Jobs (about) you can wait too long.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hart said full recovery will take about six months and he hopes to be cancer-free after going through the recovery process. &#8220;You never know if the cancer is going to come back, but for the most part I&#8217;m through the hard part.&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.680news.com\/2016\/03\/07\/it-was-really-scary-canadian-wrestler-reflects-on-cancer-and-future-recovery\/\" target=\"_blank\">Report via 680News.com<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>March 2 Report<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wwe.com\/article\/bret-hart-prostate-cancer-update-interview?sf21854566=1\" target=\"_blank\">talked to WWE&#8217;s website<\/a> about his recovery from prostate surgery and what&#8217;s next for him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I got the thumbs up from my doctor that I should have a smooth and steady recovery for the next few months,&#8221; Hart said.<\/p>\n<p>Hart also revealed that he was aware of a potential issue dating back to 2013 when his doctors began monitoring his prostate.<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-678364268\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;In June of 2015, my PSA level had doubled and another biopsy found that the cancer was indeed growing. After a consultation with my doctor, the decision was made to go in for a robotic prostectomy. We set the date for Feb, 10;\u00a0it wasn\u2019t a rush,&#8221; Hart said.<\/p>\n<p>Hart said he was prepared for the surgery, but it was still &#8220;as tough a surgery that I have ever gone through.&#8221; Now, he is recovering at home hoping that the surgery takes care of the issue for good.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There\u2019s always a chance it could come back, but it seems my cancer was contained within my prostate. I have to get checked every three months for the next couple of years, and eventually it will be once a year,\u00a0and\u00a0eventually, in 10 years, they\u2019ll tell\u00a0me that I\u2019m cancer-free forever.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, Hart said, he hopes talking about his cancer will make men aware of the health risks of prostate cancer. &#8220;Early detection of prostate cancer can result in being completely cured.
