In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/300th-ep-with-guests-ftr-dax-harwood-and-cash-wheeler-aew\/id1468726055?i=1000558333621\">The Wrestling Perspective Podcast<\/a>, Harwood talked about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2022\/04\/07\/heydorns-aew-dynamite-receipt\/\">FTR&#8217;s recent hot run<\/a>, a potential return to WWE, and Tony Khan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think both companies are in the business of getting talent and getting talented talent, not just any talent, and I think they\u2019ve seen the wave we\u2019ve made, especially in the last 8-10 months, more so in the last 4 months,&#8221; Harwood said of WWE interest. &#8220;So yeah, why wouldn\u2019t they put feelers out? Why wouldn\u2019t they ask about it?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHere\u2019s the thing; we respect Tony so much,&#8221; Harwood said. &#8220;We would never, in a million years, while we\u2019re under a contract with the company, would we ever go behind his back and talk contract status with anybody else. No other company. We would never do that to him because we have too much respect for what he\u2019s given us and what he\u2019s allowed us to do.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On the subject of returning to WWE, Harwood said that FTR will go where pro wrestling takes them.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Now on the flip side of that, we\u2019re gonna go where professional wrestling takes us, and wherever the best opportunity is for us and wherever we can build on our legacy,&#8221; Harwood said. &#8220;That\u2019s the most important thing. Obviously, money is really, really cool. I\u2019m allowed to take care of my wife and daughter. But whenever we initially got the contract offer from WWE, I called my grandmother and I told her how much it was, and I told her, \u2018I think I\u2019m going to turn it down.\u2019 And her exact words were \u2018David, how much money do you need?\u2019 I was like \u2018oh my god, she\u2019s right.\u2019 My dad and my mom busted their ass to take care of me. If they can do it, I can do the same thing and I don\u2019t have to do this. I do it because I love it. So we\u2019re going to go wherever the love of wrestling takes us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are former Tag Team Champions in WWE and in AEW.
