WWE is running Summerslam at Nissan Stadium on the same weekend. Conrad Thompson spoke to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/wrestling\/2022\/05\/13\/starrcast-v-summerslam-nashville-conrad-thompson\">Sports Illustrated<\/a> about the news and teased some twists on the usual panel format.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pre-pandemic, we had hoped to do another Starrcast in Chicago in 2020, but the stars just didn\u2019t align,\u201d Thompson said. &#8220;So it makes sense to bring it back, especially with a stadium show nearby\u2014but this time, with a few twists that I think everybody is going to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You\u2019re going to hear from some names we haven\u2019t heard from in quite a long while,\u201d Thompson said of the talent appearing. &#8220;And there will be some others who we may be hearing from for the last time. We\u2019ll start all of those announcements next week.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The last Starrcast event was held in 2019 in Baltimore in conjunction with the AEW Full Gear PPV event.
