I don\u2019t play Drew McIntyre. I am Drew McIntyre. As Undertaker once told me, \u2018Don\u2019t play the wrestler. Be the wrestler.&#8217; At the time, \u2019Taker was my mentor, a role assigned by Vince [McMahon], and I had no idea what he was talking about. I was a wrestler, obviously, right? Now, almost 15 years later, I have a much different appreciation for his lessons. I know who I am every time I step out there, and I know what I\u2019m aiming for; and that\u2019s Roman.<\/p>\n<p>McIntyre talked in more detail about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2022\/05\/23\/roman-reigns-confirms-lighter-wwe-live-event-schedule\/\">Roman Reigns<\/a> and more specifically, the major UK stadium show taking place in September &#8212; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2022\/06\/02\/wwe-moonsault-nft-marketplace-set-to-launch-with-premium-live-event-collection\/\">WWE&#8217;s<\/a> first in the UK in 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That\u2019s my goal,\u201d McIntyre said of the match against Reigns in the UK. &#8220;I\u2019m putting in the work to get there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Drew McIntyre is a former WWE Champion. He defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 to win the title.
