{"id":141093,"date":"2022-06-09T14:22:50","date_gmt":"2022-06-09T19:22:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/?p=141093"},"modified":"2022-06-09T14:22:50","modified_gmt":"2022-06-09T19:22:50","slug":"jay-lethal-comments-on-benefit-of-tony-khan-owning-roh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2022\/06\/09\/jay-lethal-comments-on-benefit-of-tony-khan-owning-roh\/","title":{"rendered":"Jay Lethal comments on benefit of Tony Khan owning ROH"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pwtor-95154830\" class=\"pwtor-before-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><hr \/><b>SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)... <\/b>\r\n\r\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/widget.spreaker.com\/player?show_id=3076978&theme=light&playlist=false&playlist-continuous=false&autoplay=false&live-autoplay=false&chapters-image=true&episode_image_position=right&hide-logo=false&hide-likes=false&hide-comments=false&hide-sharing=false&hide-download=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"140px\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\r\n<hr \/><\/div><p>Jay Lethal says that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2022\/06\/08\/6-8-aew-dynamite-results-kellers-report-on-aew-interim-title-battle-royal-and-jon-moxley-main-event-pac-vs-buddy-hanman-vs-finlay\/\">AEW<\/a> President, Tony Khan, will bring something to the Ring of Honor brand that it&#8217;s never had throughout the company&#8217;s long history.<\/p>\n<p>In an appearance on the AEW Unrestricted Podcast with Tony Schiavone, Lethal discussed a multitude of topics including reuniting with Sonjay Dutt at the Supercard of Honor show and what Tony Khan brings to the ROH legacy as the new owner of the company.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The only thing ROH has never had is some grand stage so more eyes could be on the company, and that\u2019s exactly what they\u2019re going to get now,&#8221; Lethal said of Khan purchasing the company from Sinclair Broadcasting. &#8220;I\u2019m so happy and proud that Tony [Khan] owns ROH and that the legacy is going to continue.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jay Lethal is a multi-time Ring of Honor World Champion. He made his AEW debut at the Full Gear PPV last year. Lethal is in the middle of a feud with Samoa Joe over Joe&#8217;s ROH Television Championship.<\/p>\n<p>At this year&#8217;s only ROH show, Supercard of Honor, Lethal defeated Lee Moriarty.
