He\u00a0defeated Ricochet on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2022\/06\/10\/6-3-wwe-smackdown-results-kellers-report-on-gunther-challenging-ricochet-sheamus-vs-drew-and-lacey-vs-xia-li-in-mitb-qualifiers\/\">this week&#8217;s episode of Smackdown<\/a> to win the title. It&#8217;s his first championship win on the main roster.<\/p>\n<p>Gunther is former NXT UK Champion and the holds the record for the longest reign with that belt.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Gunther_AUT\/status\/1535442307733913608\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gunther<\/a> is undefeated since joining Smackdown two months ago.
