Gage said he wanted a shot at the title and Moxley obliged, but only if Gage was willing to put his career on the line. Gage accepted the terms right away.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/BigDre2374\/status\/1558652740330471426<\/p>\n<p>Jon Moxley and Gage crossed paths last year in October at the GCW Fight Club event. Moxley is the current Interim AEW World Champion. He defeated Chris Jericho on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2022\/08\/10\/8-10-aew-dynamite-tv-results-kellers-report-on-moxley-vs-jericho-for-aew-interim-title-jade-cargil-vs-madison-rayne-brody-vs-darby-ftr-returns\/\">last week&#8217;s episode of AEW Dynamite<\/a>. He was then attacked by members of the Jericho Appreciation Society until AEW World Champion, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2022\/08\/10\/c-m-punk-returns-to-aew\/\">C.M. Punk ran out to make the save<\/a>.
