{"id":157028,"date":"2023-04-11T17:22:27","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T22:22:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/?p=157028"},"modified":"2023-04-11T17:22:27","modified_gmt":"2023-04-11T22:22:27","slug":"vince-mcmahon-signed-a-new-contract-with-wwe-at-the-end-of-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2023\/04\/11\/vince-mcmahon-signed-a-new-contract-with-wwe-at-the-end-of-march\/","title":{"rendered":"Vince McMahon signed a new contract with WWE at the end of March"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pwtor-3980881567\" class=\"pwtor-before-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><hr \/><b>SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)... <\/b>\r\n\r\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/widget.spreaker.com\/player?show_id=3076978&theme=light&playlist=false&playlist-continuous=false&autoplay=false&live-autoplay=false&chapters-image=true&episode_image_position=right&hide-logo=false&hide-likes=false&hide-comments=false&hide-sharing=false&hide-download=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"140px\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\r\n<hr \/><\/div><p>Vince McMahon reported signed a new contract with WWE at the end of March.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/business\/business-news\/wwe-ufc-endeavor-merger-1235371289\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> is reporting that McMahon inked a new deal with his company on March 29 ahead of WrestleMania 39 weekend and the announcement that Endeavor would be acquiring WWE and merging it with the UFC to form a $21 billion dollar sports and entertainment company.<\/p>\n<p>The terms of the contract were not revealed fully, but the report indicates that \u201cMcMahon\u2019s continued employment shall be conditioned on\u201d compliance with the company\u2019s \u201cConflict of Interest and Code of Conduct,\u201d as well as its \u201cEqual Opportunity and Non-Harassment Policy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McMahon retired from WWE last summer amidst a Board of Directors investigation into hush money payments made by him to women with whom he reportedly had affairs with.
