{"id":16319,"date":"2016-04-12T16:28:29","date_gmt":"2016-04-12T21:28:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/?p=16319"},"modified":"2016-04-12T16:28:29","modified_gmt":"2016-04-12T21:28:29","slug":"april11rawratings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2016\/04\/12\/april11rawratings\/","title":{"rendered":"4\/11 Raw TV Ratings &#8211; Post-WM32 Lull Period already here?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pwtor-1582606650\" class=\"pwtor-before-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><hr \/><b>SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)... <\/b>\r\n\r\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/widget.spreaker.com\/player?show_id=3076978&theme=light&playlist=false&playlist-continuous=false&autoplay=false&live-autoplay=false&chapters-image=true&episode_image_position=right&hide-logo=false&hide-likes=false&hide-comments=false&hide-sharing=false&hide-download=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"140px\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\r\n<hr \/><\/div><p>Monday&#8217;s WWE Raw fell hard the week after WrestleMania, falling into the same range as the middle of March when Raw was struggling on the Road to WrestleMania.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WWE RAW TV RATINGS TRACKING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>April 11:\u00a0<\/strong>Monday&#8217;s Raw scored a 2.50 rating, down 15 percent from a season-high 2.93 rating last week the night after WrestleMania.<\/p>\n<p>Raw was also down from a 2.66 rating the week before WrestleMania.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The demographic ratings nosedived for the second show after WrestleMania, erasing last week&#8217;s gains by falling\u00a0below the pre-WM32 show.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adults 18-49 fell\u00a0from a 1.55 to 1.24 (20%\u00a0decline)<\/li>\n<li>Males 18-34 fell from a 1.99 to 1.40 (30% decline)<\/li>\n<li>Males 18-49 fell from a 2.05 to 1.62 (21% decline)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211; Raw&#8217;s three hours averaged 3.529 million viewers, down 14 percent (about 565,000 viewers) from last week&#8217;s show.<\/p>\n<p>As usual, the third hour fell off from the second hour, which was the peak hour of the show. The most concerning hour, though, was the first hour&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Hour: 3.474 million viewers (down about 800,000 viewers from last week&#8217;s 1H)<\/li>\n<li>Second Hour: 3.687 million viewers (down about\u00a0490,000 viewers from last week&#8217;s 2H)<\/li>\n<li>Third Hour: 3.427 million viewers (down about 390,000 viewers from last week&#8217;s 3H)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Caldwell&#8217;s Analysis:\u00a0<\/strong>It looks like the\u00a0key male demo came back last week, evaluated post-Mania happenings,\u00a0and decided to go back into hiding this week. That&#8217;s not a good sign for advertisers and USA Network. There has been\u00a0so much long-term damage done to the Raw product in the Three-Hour Raw environment that it&#8217;s going to take time for viewers to come back. But, two key factors that have to be addressed is the\u00a0rejection of Roman Reigns as top champion and the &#8220;interim tag&#8221; on Shane McMahon making it unclear if he&#8217;s going to stick around to keep Raw fresh.
