Li will report to Ed Wells, the\u00a0EVP for International.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChina is strategically important for WWE and we are confident that Jay will help successfully develop our brand and business in the market,\u201d said Gerrit Meier, President of WWE International. \u201cWe remain committed to expanding WWE internationally, and our presence in China is critical to the company\u2019s future growth.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>One\u00a0major item on the checklist is getting WWE Network cleared for distribution in China.
