{"id":17624,"date":"2016-04-27T00:11:30","date_gmt":"2016-04-27T05:11:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/?p=17624"},"modified":"2016-04-27T02:19:50","modified_gmt":"2016-04-27T07:19:50","slug":"17624","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2016\/04\/27\/17624\/","title":{"rendered":"WrestleMania 33 to be held at renamed stadium"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pwtor-3623766764\" class=\"pwtor-before-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><hr \/><b>SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)... <\/b>\r\n\r\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/widget.spreaker.com\/player?show_id=3076978&theme=light&playlist=false&playlist-continuous=false&autoplay=false&live-autoplay=false&chapters-image=true&episode_image_position=right&hide-logo=false&hide-likes=false&hide-comments=false&hide-sharing=false&hide-download=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"140px\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\r\n<hr \/><\/div><p>Next year&#8217;s WrestleMania will be held at a renamed Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/sports\/college\/college-gridiron-365\/os-orlando-citrus-bowl-20160425-story.html\" target=\"_blank\">reports the Orlando Sentinel newspaper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The football stadium is now called <strong>Camping World Stadium<\/strong> after stadium officials reached a naming agreement with the Camping World recreational vehicle company.<\/p>\n<p>The eight-year naming rights agreement was announced Tuesday as part of the Citrus Bowl&#8217;s transformation that was able to lure WrestleMania back to the stadium for the second time.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Florida Citrus Sports organization put over $200 million worth of\u00a0renovations into the stadium. The efforts attracted WM33, an MLS franchise, a high-profile 2019 college football kick-off game between the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes, and now a stadium sponsor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause of the types of events we\u2019re now able to attract that we would not be able to attract in the old stadium\u2026 there\u2019s more value to someone who wants to have their name associated with a building, if you\u2019re putting premiere events into the building,\u201d said Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer.<\/p>\n<p>WWE was referenced\u00a0by Florida Citrus Sports CEO Steve Hogan in his comments on the naming rights deal.<\/p>\n<p>When you look at where we were in pitching for the venues and where we are today with Camping World Stadium it just blows you away to think that the only venue in the Southeast to host the Rolling Stones.
