I made a sneak appearance at WrestleMania at the beginning of\u00a0April. I&#8217;m ready to go. I&#8217;ve been away too long,&#8221; Cena said.<\/p>\n<p>Cena recapped filming &#8220;American Grit&#8221; at the end of 2015, injuring his shoulder\u00a0immediately when he returned to WWE costing him five months, and now it&#8217;s added up to more than half-a-year away from WWE television.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve basically been away from the ring for seven months and I&#8217;m ready to get back on Memorial Day,&#8221; he said after recapping\u00a0how he finished his rehab\u00a0in five months.<\/p>\n<p>Tamron, the 9:00 a.m. hour co-host, tried to bring Cena down to earth noting he&#8217;s a human being, not a real-life super-hero, so he has to be careful about rushing back to the ring after doctors told him 6-9 months of recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Cena reasoned that doctors make that estimate based on a normal person&#8217;s recovery time doing rehab three times per week. Whereas, he&#8217;s a seasoned athlete and he did\u00a0the rehab up to\u00a0three times per day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a matter of doing the work.
