That said, the event is ongoing right now, with Cody and CM Punk vying for the KotR title as I post this!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I suppose the big news was the release of Series 2 of the 2025 base set, which features all of the newer stars and everyone that was missing from series 1.\u00a0 They are sprinkled into all packs now, there is a special pack with nothing but base, but who really buys those?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For the next several weeks it\u2019s all going to be about Sapphire though.\u00a0 The major drop which wasn\u2019t really announced but was more or less expected, happened yesterday.\u00a0 Super packs for 1500 diamonds ($5-7) yield a legendary 1 in 3 and a guaranteed Iconic, so that\u2019s nice.\u00a0 There are hundreds of Legendary cards.\u00a0 The 200 card base set has multiple LE variations including two 1\/1s, so there\u2019s a lot to chase.\u00a0 IF you buy diamonds.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Also this set will sell out of everything when the limited editions all sell out, so even though the packs say they\u2019re available for 20 days, they probably will be the first pure sell out of 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Of course when you can pull a card you might be able to sell for over $100, people go nuts.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_200267\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-200267\" style=\"width: 215px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/post\/2025\/06\/IMG_1158.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-200267 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/post\/2025\/06\/IMG_1158-215x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"215\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/post\/2025\/06\/IMG_1158-215x300.png 215w, https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/post\/2025\/06\/IMG_1158.png 477w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 215px) 100vw, 215px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-200267\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">As of this writing this 1\/1 is still in packs.
