The crowd “oooh’d.” Heyman replied that Cody was talking to the G.O.A.T. and that as the G.O.A.T. he appreciated Cody’s question because when Brock Lesnar is around then everyone is in danger. Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker came in from the crowd and entered the ring. Cody said that he grew up the son of a booker and saw many others and you could always tell what they were about. They abruptly went to another split screen. [c]

Stratton and Jade double superplexed Jax which left everyone done. The crowd chanted about their interest in religious excrement. Stratton hit the prettiest moonsault ever on Jax but Jade broke up the cover attempt. Jade went for a pop-up powerbomb but Stratton escaped with a hurricanrana. Stratton went for her patented springboard flips into the corner but Jade caught her and powered her up into the Jaded. Jade covered but Jax pulled the referee out of the ring. Cole screamed that he thought Jade had the title won right there. Booker T called it a travesty.

An angry Jade cleared off the announce table. She tried to lift up Jax into a fireman’s carry but collapsed under Jax’s immense girth. Jade went for a suplex from the steel steps but Jade reversed it into a Samoan drop onto the steps! Jade was busted open and a substantial amount of blood seemed to be from above her left eye. The referee came over to check on the cut. Jax started to recover and slid into the ring. Jade met her there with the Eye of the Storm and covered for another two-count. It looked like Jax kicked out on her own because Stratton was late to break it up. Stratton came in with a dropkick to Jade and covered Jax herself. The referee counted one…two…and then inexplicably stopped counting. The referee held up two fingers indicating it was only a two-count even though Jax never got her shoulder up. Jax was talking to the referee and Stratton had her hands on her head in disbelief. The crowd was booing. Stratton hit the prettiest moonsault ever and covered again, this time for the win. Cole mentioned that Stratton remained undefeated in 2025.

WINNER: Tiffany Stratton by pinfall in 14:00. Stratton retained the WWE Women’s Championship.

After the match, Stephanie Vaquer went down to the ring with her championship. Both champions faced off and held their belts high as the show closed.

(Corbridge’s Analysis: It was a pretty good match, especially for Jade Cargill who continues to improve. The unintentional blood even added to the drama and importance of the match. But yikes, everything fell apart at the end. I’ll try to explain what I THINK happened:

Jade hit the big Eye of the Storm move and covered. Stratton was supposed to knock Jade off with a dropkick and cover Jax to steal the victory. However, since Stratton was late Jax had to get her shoulder up on her own, thus negating the effect of Jade’s move. Now Stratton couldn’t just “steal” the victory. But Jax was still going to let it happen anyway when Stratton covered her, so Jax had no intent to get her shoulder up. I THINK someone from the Gorilla position told the referee to stop the count at two since they could tell Jax wasn’t going to kick out and the back didn’t want Jax to just lose to a dropkick. After that Jax asked what happened, the referee explained, and they improvised the moonsault/pin ending. Note – I could be very wrong.)

CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO OUR POST-SHOW PODCAST

THANK YOU FOR VISITING

WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT SEPTEMBER 26, 2025 ORLANDO, FLORIDA AT KIA CENTER AIRED LIVE ON USA NETWORK REPORT BY ERIC CORBRIDGE, PWTORCH CONTRIBUTOR Commentators: Michael Cole, Booker T Ring Announcer: Mark Nash Attendance: Wrestletix reports that […]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

18,48,20

post-205081","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-tvshowsandevents","category-tv_wwesmackdown","category-tv_wwetvreports
["GET
