According to the Herald, the region\u00a0is looking to host\u00a0WrestleMania in 2018, 2019, or 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Local organizer submitted a bit to WWE in February and they\u00a0are waiting to hear back on a decision.\u00a0The bid was\u00a0a collaborative effort of\u00a0the Miami Dolphins, the Greater Miami Convention &amp; Visitors Bureau, the Miami Beach Convention Center, and the AmericanAirlines Arena\/Miami Heat Group.<\/p>\n<p>The Miami Dolphins organization spent\u00a0about $450 million in renovations to their stadium, <a href=\"http:\/\/espn.go.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/15704381\/nfl-owners-award-super-bowls-atlanta-south-florida-los-angeles\" target=\"_blank\">according to\u00a0ESPN<\/a>, in hopes of luring the Super Bowl back to the city. That investment paid off Tuesday. Adding WrestleMania to the venue&#8217;s special events calendar would also help generate a return on the investment.<\/p>\n<p>WrestleMania is returning to Florida in 2017 after Orlando officials completed renovations to the Citrus Bowl (since renamed Camping World Stadium).
