The prediction was $34.2 million.<\/p>\n<p>The movie was down 46 percent from opening weekend for the first movie, which is an average decline for similar sequels, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boxofficemojo.com\/news\/?id=4194&amp;p=.htm\" target=\"_blank\">reports BoxOfficeMojo<\/a>. Movie studio Paramount is hoping to make up for the dip in revenue and an extra $10 million spent on the sequel through merchandise sales.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>WWE star Sheamus has not been featured regularly on TV the past few weeks leading up to the release\u00a0of a major movie\u00a0this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Sheamus plays &#8220;Rocksteady&#8221; in the new &#8220;Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2&#8221; movie also featuring WWE celebrity Stephen Amell.<\/p>\n<p>Sheamus says he got the part through an audition process that went through WWE. He also noted to WWE&#8217;s website that he was a big fan of the Turtles growing up, making it special for him that he got the role.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I ended up getting a call from WWE letting me know about the auditions. I didn\u2019t hear anything for a while and I just thought, &#8216;It\u2019s such a massive role, I\u2019ll be amazed if I get it,&#8217; but I had to give it a go. My expectations weren\u2019t too high, but I eventually met with one of the producers, talked about my desire for the role and the plan around it, and then I was offered the role,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wwe.com\/article\/sheamus-interview-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles\" target=\"_blank\">Sheamus told WWE<\/a>.<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-1323194044\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;I can\u2019t tell you how much pressure I felt to do this right. Naturally, with any role like this, you want to take your interpretation of it and add that to the character. There was definitely a lot of pressure, but walking away from the premiere after seeing the movie, I was very happy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sheamus has been busy with media obligations promoting the movie, even traveling to Dublin, Ireland this week to be part of the Irish movie premier.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Getting a little bit of a break in between WWE shows is fantastic, I get to see the parents, and everyone\u2019s coming to the premiere,&#8221; Sheamus <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the42.ie\/sheamus-coming-to-ireland-meeting-vince-mcmahon-2802189-Jun2016\/\" target=\"_blank\">told The42 in Ireland<\/a>. &#8220;We\u2019re constantly on the go in the States, but we\u2019re living in Tampa (Florida) and you can\u2019t really walk anywhere.
