However, Lawler was uninjured. Lauryn got the worst of it, requiring medical attention\u00a0at a local hospital.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PEYTONSMOMMY11.24.2007\/posts\/10156166658985576\" target=\"_blank\">According to Lauryn on Facebook<\/a>, the other driver ran a red light and crashed head-on with Lawler&#8217;s vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think Jerry is superman&#8230;not a scratch or anything&#8230;.he tried to cover me to save me from the airbag before it deployed,&#8221; Lauryn wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The other driver was not intoxicated or under the influence, according to the Memphis Police Department commenting to <a href=\"http:\/\/prowrestlingsheet.com\/jerry-lawler-halloween-car-accident-driver-not-drunk-crash-pictures\/\" target=\"_blank\">former TMZ producer Ryan Satin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Lawler detailed what happened to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wwe.com\/inside\/jerry-lawler-car-accident-28145747\" target=\"_blank\">WWE&#8217;s website<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m fine, but Lauryn is pretty banged up. We had taken care of the trick-or-treaters and went for pizza right near the house. We were coming home to catch the end of the University of Memphis game. I was sitting at a red light at a busy intersection not a minute from my house. I got the green arrow to make a left turn. I started making the turn and I saw the car coming, not slowing down at all. The driver ran a red light.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Lauryn was in the ER for four hours. Her face is really, really swollen on the left side.
