Was it due to John Cena returning to WWE TV to raise his profile?<\/p>\n<p><strong>American Grit Viewership Tracking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>May 2\u00a0<\/strong>(Week 8): This week&#8217;s episode rebounded 13 percent from last week&#8217;s season-low.<\/p>\n<p>Excitement for\u00a0drawing more than 2.0 million viewers was short-lived after final numbers were reported, though.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;American Grit&#8221; drew 2.08 million viewers <a href=\"http:\/\/tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com\/2016\/06\/03\/tv-ratings-thursday-june-2-2016\/\" target=\"_blank\">in the overnight ratings reported by TVbytheNumbers.com<\/a>, rebounding from a\u00a0season-low 1.82 million overnight viewers last week.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"http:\/\/tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com\/2016\/06\/03\/thursday-final-ratings-june-2-2016\/\" target=\"_blank\">actual viewership<\/a> lowered to 1.96 million viewers.<\/p>\n<p>The show also dipped from a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating to a 0.6 in the final numbers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Grit ranked #3 or #4 in its timeslot, depending on the\u00a0metric being evaluated.
