A lot of times the wrestlers have good things to say about them. But sometimes they don\u2019t get along. That\u2019s what\u2019s been happening between Gunther and Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Gunther has been after the Undisputed WWE Championship currently held by Cody Rhodes. For weeks, he has been denied the victory, getting very frustrated at Aldis. At the SummerSlam kickoff show, the two men brawled, with Triple H announcing that they will be fighting each other at the PLE. To celebrate Aldis\u2019s first match in WWE, the WWE YouTube channel uploaded another video to their WWE Playlist series. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fCaxszp1Qn0\">In this video<\/a>, they\u2019re showcasing the many times where WWE General Managers got in the ring and wrestled, getting fans excited for Aldis\u2019s in-ring debut in WWE.<\/p>\n<p>This video showcases the many times that WWE General Managers wrestled in a WWE ring. The position has mostly been filled by wrestlers who have retired or haven\u2019t been medically cleared to compete. When General Managers\u00a0wrestle in WWE,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0usually a surprise and very unexpected, which is why\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0such a big deal\u00a0when it does happen and why fans are excited for SummerSlam next week.\u00a0They put up a good fight against their opponents, surprising everyone in the arena.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, this was a cool video showing the times\u00a0where\u00a0WWE General Managers stepped away from their duties and decided to wrestle. For some,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0part of a storyline, like Eric Bischoff\u00a0and\u00a0Teddy Long. Other times,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0the restart of a career cut short, like Bryan.<\/p>\n<p>With\u00a0Aldis,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0tough to say\u00a0what\u2019s\u00a0going to happen\u00a0with him\u00a0after SummerSlam. He last wrestled three years ago, but he never\u00a0retired\u00a0and\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0younger than a lot of the wrestlers on SmackDown right now.\u00a0There\u2019s\u00a0a good chance that this match could be the start of an extended run. The match has been\u00a0anticipated\u00a0by fans, which is why this video was so entertaining.<\/p>\n<p>General Managers in WWE normally\u00a0haven\u2019t\u00a0wrestled in years, so when\u00a0they put the boots back on,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0a huge deal for the fans and their opponent as well.
