Cassidy paused to admire the Continental Cup and give a thumbs up before continuing to the ring. Kyle O\u2019Reilly\u2019s music played and he made his way to the ring. The bell rang to start the match six minutes into the show.<\/p>\n<p>Cassidy placed his sunglasses on Kyle as a show of respect. Cassidy took Kyle to the mat with a side headlock takeover. Kyle escaped with a headscissor lock. Cassidy escaped and took Kyle back down with a headlock. Kyle escaped a headlock with a back suplex. Kyle grabbed a wristlock and transitioned into a waistlock. Cassidy put his hands in his pockets and wriggled free from the hold.<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-3546434408\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Cassidy knocked Kyle out of the rope, feigned a dive, but waited for Kyle to return to the ring. Cassidy held the ropes, but Kyle opted to climb in over the turnbuckle. Kyle caught Cassidy with a dragon screw in the ropes. Kyle held the ropes for Cassidy to enter, but he decided to roll under the bottom rope instead.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle hit a snap suplex, but Cassidy came back with one of the own. Kyle hit another snap suplex, and Cassidy fired back with one again as they went to commercial. [c]<\/p>\n<p>They returned from commercial and Kyle landed a snap suplex in the center of the ring, and Cassidy came back with his own. Schiavone implied they had been going back and forth for the entirety of the break as well. They traded snap suplexes again and both took a break, collapsing into opposite corners. They traded forearms and leg kicks until Kyle hit a combination of strikes. Cassidy hit a thrust kick, but Kyle came off the ropes and landed a lariat that left both men down.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle hit a knee and countered a stundog millionaire into an armbar attempt. Cassidy escaped, but Kyle transitioned into an ankle lock. Cassidy crawled to the bottom rope to escape the hold. Cassidy hit lethargic kicks on Kyle before delivering a Michinoku Driver into a pin for a two-count.<\/p>\n<p>Cassidy hit a swinging DDT and went for the pin, but Kyle kicked out at two. Cassidy considered lowering his elbow pad but decided against it. Kyle blocked a Beach Break, but Cassidy delivered a penalty kick instead. Cassidy went for another Beach Break, but Kyle rolled through, picked the ankle and applied a standing ankle lock in the center of the ring.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle released the hold and considered stomping on Cassidy\u2019s ankle but changed his mind. Cassidy took advantage with a roll-up for a quick two count, but Kyle kicked out and transitioned back into an ankle lock. Silly at times, but they stakes and unclear outcome added to the drama nonetheless.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>-Renee was in the trainer\u2019s room with Nigel after Dynamite, checking on his ankle after his match. Nigel said he\u2019s overwhelmed and in pain before Ospreay walked into frame and apologized for interrupting the interview before asking for some ice for his back. Ospreay told Nigel his ankle is swollen. Nigel said he doesn\u2019t know what he\u2019s going to do in Glasgow. Ospreay told Nigel that seeing Nigel succeed in the US, it gave him hope he could succeed as well. Ospreay said he has more hope in Nigel than himself at this point. Nigel told Will he\u2019s one of the best and he can do it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(2) THE DIVINE DOMINION vs. TIARA JAMES &amp; ERICA LEIGH \u2013 Five minute eliminator match<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Divine Dominion\u2019s music played to bring Lena Kross and Mega Bayne to the ring. Their opponents, Tiara James and Erica Leigh were already in the ring. The bell rang to start the match 27 minutes into the hour.<\/p>\n<p>Erica and Tiara charged into Bayne as the bell rang, but she quickly took them both down with a double German suplex. Kross tagged in and they hit running strikes on Erica and Tiara in opposite corners. Bayne called out the Brawling Birds to the camera before crushing Tiara with a double clothesline.<\/p>\n<p>Bayne and Kross hit a variation of the Two Birds One Stone finisher. Bayne made the cover but pulled Tiara off the mat before three. Kross and Bayne hit Tiara with the Divine Intervention double chokeslam. Bayne made the cover for the win.<\/p>\n<p>WINNERS: The Divine Dominion in 2:00<\/p>\n<p>-Jack Perry appeared in a video to praise Swerve\u2019s accomplishments before challenging him to a match on Dynamite in Scotland. He signed off with \u201cKill or be killed.\u201d [c]<\/p>\n<p>-They showed a replay from Dynamite of Darby getting blasted by pyro and catching a coast-to-coast chair to the face.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(3) DANIEL GARCIA vs. CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI \u2013 Continental Cup tournament match<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Death Rider\u2019s overture played before flowing in Garcia\u2019s music. The camera cut backstage where Garcia left the rest of The Death Riders and made his way through the crowd and to the ring. They showed an inset video of Garcia saying the next 20 years belong to him, this tournament is the epitome of professional wrestling, and he\u2019s going to win for love of the game. Claudio\u2019s music played and he appeared backstage, passing the rest of The Death Riders before making his entrance through the crowd. The bell rang to start the match 39 minutes into the show.<\/p>\n<p>Claudio forced Garcia into the corner and broke it up. Claudio wrestled Garcia to the mat and went for a pin, but Garcia grabbed the ropes to escape. Garcia shoved Claudio a few times, then dodged a European uppercut. Garcia rolled Claudio up for a quick two. Garcia went for a sunset flip, but Claudio lifted him up and delivered a forearm.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia hit a European uppercut and a chop followed by a dragon screw in the ropes. Garcia followed Claudio out of the ring and delivered a flurry of forearms. Claudio. Garcia got a running start and hit a dropkick on Claudio sitting in a chair against the barricade. Claudio blinded Garcia with a running European uppercut. Claudio dropped Garcia onto the barricade and then tossed him into the crowd as they went to commercial. [c]<\/p>\n<p>Back from break, Claudio delivered shoulder thrusts to Garcia in the corner followed by a chop. Garcia fired up, holding his arms in position for his much-maligned dance, but Claudio blasted him with a European uppercut. Garcia did it again, but Claudio hit a series of uppercuts. Garcia tried it a third time, and Claudio hit a fierce combination of uppercuts and then stomped him down into the corner.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia struggled to his feet, and the crowd cheered as he performed his little dance before rolling Claudio up for two. Garcia hit a boot to Claudio\u2019s face and delivered ten-count punches in the corner. Claudio lifted Garcia and tossed him halfway across the ring. Garcia came back, set up for the Dragon Tamer. Claudio tried to fight it off, but Garcia locked it up. Garcia wrenched back too far, and Claudio grabbed Garcia\u2019s head to escape the hold.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia caught Claudio with a guillotine. Claudio deadlifted him out of it into a suplex attempt, but Garcia countered it into a sleeper hold. Claudio backed into the turnbuckle a few times and powered his way out of the sleeper. Claudio slung Garcia to the mat and performed a giant swing.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia came back with a shining wizard and then set Claudio up for a Neutralizer, adjusting his neck like Claudio does. Claudio escaped and picked Garcia\u2019s ankle before connecting with an uppercut. Garcia grabbed another sleeper. Claudio faded, and Garcia tried to transition into a piledriver, but Claudio powered Garcia back into the corner.<\/p>\n<p>Claudio hit a pair of running European uppercuts in the corner, but Garcia dodged the third and locked in yet another sleeper hold on Claudio. Claudio collapsed to the mat, and Garcia took advantage by delivering the Neutralizer. Garcia made the cover, but Claudio kicked out at two.<\/p>\n<p>Claudio hit a pop-up European uppercut and then went for the pin, but Garcia kicked out at two. Claudio applied a sharpshooter. Garcia rolled to his back in an attempt to escape, and Claudio pulled off Garcia\u2019s boot. Claudio grabbed Garcia\u2019s exposed leg and performed a single-leg giant swing. Claudio drilled Garcia with a running European uppercut and made the cover, but Garcia kicked out at two.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia hit an overhand chop, but Claudio fired back with a big forearm that knocked Garcia to the mat. Claudio lifted Garcia up and delivered a big powerbomb. Claudio transitioned into the sharpshooter again, with his torque focused on Garcia\u2019s expose ankle, and Garcia tapped out quickly.<\/p>\n<p>WINNER: Claudio Castagnoli in 15:00<\/p>\n<p><em>(White\u2019s Take: It wasn\u2019t as good as Schiavone thought, but still a very good match between the two Death Riders. Technical, hard-hitting, and it told a storyline throughout the match; not sure what else you could want from this kind of match. The crowd went from being behind Claudio to rooting for Garcia over the course of fifteen minutes.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>-They showed a highlight video of the feud between Willow and Mercedes thus far. [c]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>[HOUR TWO]<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Tony Schiavone announced the results of the blind draw for the next round of the Continental Cup tournament. Nigel takes on Kyle O\u2019Reilly and Moxley gets Claudio.<\/p>\n<p>-They threw to a video package on The Dogs, highlighting Gabe Kidd\u2019s return. Finlay said all he wants in life in Jay White\u2019s head. Gabe yelled at Clark Connors and Finlay, saying that they are killers. They noted the open challenge for the trios titles at Wembley.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(4) THE HURT SYNDICATE (Bobby Lashley &amp; Shelton Benjamin w\/MVP) &amp; LEE MORIARTY (w\/Shane Taylor &amp; Shawn Dean &amp; Carlie Bravo &amp; Christyan XO &amp; Trish Adora) vs. RYAN O\u2019NEILL &amp; NIC NOLAN &amp; MATT MAKO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Hurt Syndicate\u2019s music played to bring out MVP along with Shelton Benjmain and Bobby Lashley. Lee Moriarty made his entrance alongside half of the ROH roster while three guys not even good enough for ROH waited in the ring. The bell rang to start the match three minutes into the second hour.<\/p>\n<p>Shelton tossed Mako across the ring with a German suplex. The crowd chanted \u201cwe hurt people\u201d as Lashley and Shelton tossed O\u2019Neill and Nolan into the ring. Lashley hit his big spinebuster on O\u2019Neill as Shelton tossed Nolan into the barricade on the outside of the ring. Lashley added a running spear on Nolan.<\/p>\n<p>Lashley tagged Moriarty in aggressively before he and Shelton headed to the back with MVP. Moriarty hit Mako with a dive to the outside and rolled him back into the ring. Moriarty hit a straight jacket into a facebuster, transitioned directly into the Border City Stretch, and Mako tapped out.<\/p>\n<p>WINNERS: The Hurt Syndicate &amp; Lee Moriarty in 3:00<\/p>\n<p>-After the match, Shane Taylor said the Pennsylvania hicks don\u2019t know what greatness looks like. He said greatness is Moriarty being the best Pure champion of all time, and added that they are the greatest trio of all time. He issued an open challenge before the arena went dark.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(5) THE BANG BANG GANG (Colten Gunn &amp; Austin Gun &amp; \u201cSwitchblade\u201d Jay White w\/Juice Robinson &amp; Ace Austin) vs. SHANE TAYLOR PROMOTIONS (Shawn Dean &amp; Carlie Bravo &amp; Shane Taylor w\/Lee Moriarty &amp; Christyan XO &amp; Trish Adora)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Bang Bang Gang appeared at the top of the ramp. Somehow, the announcer knew exactly which three were answering the open challenge, as Schiavone noted that they never actually lost the trios titles, but relinquished them when Jay White was injured. The bell rang to start the match nine minutes into the second hour as the crowd chanted \u201cGuns up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>White took Bravo to the mat with a wrist lock. Colten tagged in and took Bravo down with an arm wringer. Bravo forced Colten into the corner when Dean and Bravo hit him with a combination of strikes. Dean capped it off with a neckbreaker. Austin made the blind tag and swept out Dean\u2019s legs.<\/p>\n<p>Austin hit Braco with a combination of punches, but Taylor entered and dropped Austin with a big lariat. Dea made the over, but Austin kicked out at two as they went to commercial. [c]<\/p>\n<p>Back from break, Bravo and Dean hit Austin with a combination side slam and flying elbow drop. Taylor hit a big running avalanche on Austin in the corner. Bravo added his own. Dean yelled \u201cB-B-C\u201d before delivering a bronco buster to Austin. Austin backdropped Bravo out of the ring and dodged Dean to make the tag to Colten.<\/p>\n<p>Colten took Bravo and Dean down with right hands before knocking Taylo off the apron. Colten hit a neckbreaker on Dean and a dropkick on Bravo. Taylor dropped Colten with a clothesline and tagged himself in. Colten made the tag to White who delivered a series of chops to Taylor.<\/p>\n<p>White hit a pair of running forearms and caught Taylor with a boot. White hit a combination of forearms and chops. White attempted to whip Taylor, but he blocked it and backdropped White. Taylor hit with a clothesline in the corner and climbed onto the middle rope. He went for a Vader bomb, but White rolled out of the way.<\/p>\n<p>White took Dean down with a dragon screw but Carlie caught White with a right cross. Austin planted Bravo with a DDT before he and Colten hit Taylor with the 3:10 to Yuma. White hit Braco with the Blade Runner and made the pin for the win.<\/p>\n<p>WINNERS: The Bang Bang Gang in 10:00<\/p>\n<p><em>(White\u2019s Take: The winner was never in doubt, but it\u2019s tough to see Jay White go from having one of the best television matches of the year to competing in a pointless, unannounced six-man match. Jay was, of course, good, and Austin &amp; Colten both move with speed and purpose, making the match more entertaining than it deserved to be.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>After the match, White did a \u201cguns up\u201d thing with the crowd. Jay said his match with Moxley didn\u2019t go the way he wanted, but \u201cwhen one door chokes you out, another one opens.\u201d He went on to call out The Dogs, saying that he and The Gunns would go to Wembley to compete for the trios titles against Brodido and \u201cHangman.\u201d White said they never lose the titles, and also The Dogs wanting the titles makes them want it that much more. White said they\u2019re the Collision Cowboys, The Bang Bang Gang, and they\u2019re coming for the hold.<\/p>\n<p>-Lexy was backstage with Willow, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O\u2019Reilly. Kyle said he knew the tournament would test him, drawing his two best friends in the first two rounds. He said only one man stands between him and Wembley. Willow said she spent the first All In watching from home, and then was on the preshow, and then the casino gauntlet last year. She said this year, she\u2019s walking in as champ, telling Maya World she respects her, but nothing is stopping her from her Wembley dream. She said she\u2019s hoping Mercedes is watching, and when she wins she\u2019ll have a smile just for her. [c]<\/p>\n<p>-They showed an in-depth video package focusing on Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, and the AEW world championship.<\/p>\n<p><em>(White\u2019s Take: This is one of those high-quality video packages that you\u2019d like to see more on TV, instead of only on the countdown shows where no one sees them. It did more for the Omega and Ospreay match than anything on Dynamite.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>(6) NICK WAYNE &amp; TOMASSO CIAMPA vs. KOMANDER &amp; \u201cSPEEDBALL\u201d MIKE BAILEY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nick Wayne\u2019s off-putting music played to bring Wayne to the ring. Ciampa made his much-better entrance as they showed an inset video of Wayne saying he wants his number called in the Casino Gauntlet match at All In. Ciampa stopped into frame to clarify that they\u2019re not friends, or even a team. Komander\u2019s music played and he made his way out before \u201cSpeedball\u201d Mike Bailey\u2019s music interrupted. They made their way to the ring together as they showed an inset video where Bailey said they\u2019re going to do what they do best before Komander added something in Spanish. The bell rang to start the match 35 minutes into the hour.<\/p>\n<p>Bailey escaped a wristlock and took Ciampa down with a side headlock takeover. Ciampa caught Bailey with a back elbow before Bailey came back with rapid-fire low kicks. Wayne tagged in, and told Bailey to tag in Komander. When Bailey turned to tag in Komander, Wayne hit him from behind. Bailey caught Wayne with a roundhouse to the chest.<\/p>\n<p>Komander tagged in and took Wanye down with a springboard arm drag and a springboard crossbody into a pin for two. Komander and Bailey hit Ciampa and Wayne with simultaneous headscissors followed by simultaneous dropkicks. Ciampa and Wayne rolled to ringside where, they got hit by a pair of dives from Komander and Bailey as they went to commercial. [c]<\/p>\n<p>They returned from commercial as Komander flipped out of a suplex attempt and rolled Wayne up for two. Bailey got he tag and rammed Wayne head-first into the corner. Bailey hit Wayne with a missile dropkick from the top rope and then booted Ciampa off the apron. Bailey hit a combination of kicks that took Wayne down. Bailey hit a standing shooting star press into a pin, but Wayne kicked out at two.<\/p>\n<p>Ciampa hit Bailey with a boot and went for a sunset flip, but Bailey blocked it and hit Ciampa with flipping double knees. Komander hit Wayne with a springboard splash and went for the pin, but Ciampa broke it up with a running knee. Bailey hit Ciampa with a flurry of kicks and an enziguri.<\/p>\n<p>Baiely hit a triangle moonsault onto Ciampa at ringside. Komander hit Wayne with a Canadian destroyer from the middle rope and made the cover but Wayne kicked out at two. Komander went for his rope walk, but Ciampa interrupted him. Komander landed on his feet and booted Ciampa off the apron allowing Wayne to roll Komander up, but only got two, even with his feet on the ropes for leverage.<\/p>\n<p>Ciampa pulled at Komander\u2019s mask from the apron, allowing Wayne to deliver the Prodigy Plex. Ciampa fought with Bailey on the outside as Wayne went for the pin and picked up the win for his team.<\/p>\n<p>WINNERS: Tomasso Ciampa &amp; Nick Wayne in 9:00<\/p>\n<p><em>(White\u2019s Take: Wayne continues to look good, Ciampa is a pro, and Bailey &amp; Komander are exciting, but this was still a bit of a nothing match.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>After the match, Ciampa shoved Wayne down as Schiavone reminded everyone that it\u2019s every man for himself at All In.<\/p>\n<p>-The showed a video package on the International title match with Fletcher, Okada and Takeshita. [c]<\/p>\n<p>-They Death Riders were backstage, with Yuta looking at the camera but not apparently knowing whether or not he should speak. He said the draw for the semi-finals sucks and is no good for The Death Riders. Yuta said it\u2019s an opportunity to do what the Death Riders do and he started to fire up, but Moxley interrupted him and told him to shut up. Moxley walked off, and Claudio asked Yuta, &#8220;Sucks for who?\u201d before also walking off. Yuta asked Garcia how his ankle was, and he said, &#8220;It sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>(7) WILLOW NIGHTINGALE vs. MAYA WORLD \u2013 AEW Women\u2019s World Championship match<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maya World\u2019s music played and she made her entrance with the TBS title. They showed an inset promo when Maya said she couldn\u2019t sleep the night before. She said she respects Willow, but she\u2019s in for the fight of her life. Willow\u2019s music played and she made her entrance as the crowd clapped along to her music. The bell rang to start the match 54 minutes into the show.<\/p>\n<p>Mya and Willow traded waistlocks until Willow returned Maya to the mat. Willow knocked Mya down with a shoulder tackle. Mya popped back up, but Willow knocked her back down. Maya came back with a springboard into an armdrag. \u00a0Willow whipped Maya into the corner and hit a series of clotheslines.<\/p>\n<p>Willow went for a short-arm clothesline, but Mya ducked it and took Willow down with a running headscissor. Willow rolled out of the ring, and Maya hit her with a crossbody from the apron to the floor. Back in the ring Willow hit Maya with a big pounce as they went to commercial. [c]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>[HOUR THREE \/ OVERRUN]<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Back from break, Willow connected with an enziguri Willow hit Maya with a running clothesline in the corner, whipped her across the ring and delivered another. Maya sidestepped a boot and hit a forearm on Willow. Maya landed an enziguri followed by a shotgun dropkick. Maya went for the pin, but Willow kicked out at two.<\/p>\n<p>Maya did a handstand into a headscissor and then hit Willow with a tiger feint kick in the ropes. Maya rolled Willow up into a double stomp. Maya hit the ropes but ran into a big spinebuster from Willow that left both women down.<\/p>\n<p>Willow hit a dropkick from the middle rope and hit a running canon ball on Maya in the corner. Willow went for the pin, but Maya kicked out at two. Willow climbed to the top rope, but too slowly, and Maya hit her from behind. With Willow stunned on ropes, Maya hit a springboard into a sunset flip powerbomb. Maya followed up with her fallaway slam bridged into a pin, but Willow barely kicked out at the last second. Actually, she may have been a moment late, because it looked like three, which earned a \u201cref you suck\u201d chant.<\/p>\n<p>Willow and Maya traded forearms, with Maya getting the better, but Willow bounced off the ropes and hit a clothesline. Willow went for the guntwrench powergomb, but Maya countered it into a pin attempt. Willow countered it into her own pin attempt for a two-count. Willow caught Maya with a backslide for the three-count.<\/p>\n<p>WINNER: Willow Nightingale in 11:00<\/p>\n<p><em>(White\u2019s Take: While I still like Maya\u2019s upside, it\u2019s starting to look like her match with Mercedes was just another example of how good Mercedes is. Willow is also good and looked good throughout, but this match had its share of clunky spots, not to mention a late kick out by Willow. Glad they gave the women the main event, and it\u2019s nice that you can have a clean win for a world title on television, but this was still just a fine match.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Willow gave Maya a thumbs-up as she celebrated and Tony Schiavone signed off.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FINAL THOUGHTS:<\/strong> Aside from the tournament matches (which are largely unnecessary and could\u2019ve just been replaced by Nigel challenging Moxley at Wembley), there wasn\u2019t much build towards All In on this show. Some trios throwing in their proverbial hats, some competitors with major matches at All In, and a number of good video packages, but absolutely nothing important in the grand scheme of things.
