He was teaming with The Blade (Jesse Guilmette) against TME in Millvale, Penn.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy Wrestling posted the following <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EnjoyWrestle\/status\/2092619571463082382?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> about the incident on their X account: &#8220;Andy collapsed at the end of his match this evening. Our doctors on staff tended to him immediately, administering CPR until the ambulance arrived. We sent everyone home and are at the hospital now waiting for more information. Thanks to everyone who helped and has reached out.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the show was cancelled after Williams was taken to the hospital by ambulance. They had been under contract to AEW since 2019 with their last in-ring appearance in AEW taking place in January 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Williams was also musician. He was the founding guitarist for Every Time I Die in 1998. The ground disbanded in 2021. He formed another band called Atomic Rule in 2023 and they released their first EP last September.<\/p>\n<p>Williams&#8217;s death on Sunday was first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/09\/06\/andy-williams-dead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confirmed<\/a> by TMZ.<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-2559984760\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Posts on social media paying tribute to Williams can be seen below:<\/p>\n<p>Willow Nightingale <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/willowwrestles\/status\/2096619343534510222?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote:<\/a>&#8220;During the Jacksonville days, Andy (along with Eddie) really advocated for me. While I\u2019ve known him for years, he really had no stake in helping me or seeing me succeed other than wanting to see a good person have good things happen This man basically created a new sound with ETID and then pivoted to wrestling and crushed that too. He had every right to have an ego, but he didn\u2019t.
