Pharaoh also appeared with Rhodes multiple times on TV. Cody and Pharaoh were packaged together as a &#8220;Finish the Story&#8221; WWE Elite 2-pack Ringside exclusive action figure set.<\/p>\n<p>Randy Orton brought up Pharaoh during their recent feud on Smackdown to get heat. Rhodes stopped bringing Pharaoh on the road in 2024, as he was getting older and wanted to leave him at home. Rhodes announced the news on his Instagram page.<\/p>\n<p>Rhodes wrote a tribute to Pharaoh on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DdCFH1pFP9Q\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=ALMHIjrpz6IDWB4yKt036Wl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a> page noting that he had found his purpose recently watching over Rhodes&#8217;s daughters.<\/p>\n<p>Rhodes&#8217;s tribute to Pharaoh follows:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Huskies need a job. P howled at the moon. When we thought he would be afraid of the older dogs we had, but instead ran into the living room and belly flopd\u2019 on them. He patrolled the pool. He always tore up a plant when a stranger came into the backyard to let them know \u2013 \u2018I\u2019m crazy\u2019 \u2013 and don\u2019t come closer.<\/p>\n<p>He got the best training and retained most of it-I\u2019d call him a crisis dog. Whenever there was a crisis, there he was. He put his nose under my arm in the truck\u2026everytime. He was always with us, and when my world got turned upside down (when Cody&#8217;s dad Dusty died)\u2026he sat outside with me looking at the Texas stars until the sky started to shift and he pressed his head against me firmly in a way that let me know he understood.<\/p>\n<p>It goes without saying, he was a good boy. My best man. At the first \u2018all in\u2019 when Starrcast did its first convention, I\u2019ll never forget him walking into the Hyatt in Schaumburg and us seeing the lobby overtaken by fans &amp; wrestling shirts from front door to the back. We walked by the lobby bar and they had a special menu posted with \u2018Pharaoh\u2019s fries\u2019; but the thing I remember most is how the fans kinda\u2019 parted the sea for him as he walked through\u2026they snapped selfies and chanted his name like he was making an entrance on tv or something ha.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019d go on to do multiple charity meet\/greets for some of the best shelters in the country. He was a Chewy\u2019 champion. Mattel fig! Opponent of the Rock. I knew he was a true alpha when he would just let Yeti bite his face. He was part of the Rhodes\u2019 wrestling family. \u2018The Siberian Nightmare\u2019 ha. I\u2019ve gotten off track though.<\/p>\n<p>I said huskies needed a job, and I don\u2019t think Pharaoh ever truly knew his. That is until Liberty was born. I scrolled back through my old pictures and there he is with her\u2026almost every early photo\u2026he\u2019s just peeking into frame, or right beside her, or sternly looking through the lens.<\/p>\n<p>His job was to be with her. Maybe he wanted to protect her. As I said, he needed a job. When you watch GOT (Game of Thrones) one night late on tv and decide you want a little wolf pup, it would be fitting to say \u2018your watch has ended,&#8217; but I\u2019d rather say the last thing I told you before you went to forever sleep, you did your job.
