(He said Crown Jewel, but did not say where it would take place. The graphic has not changed and still says “Riyadh.” The start time remains 12 ET.)

Sami heard boos and asked, “Now, you don’t mean that, do you’?” He said he sees they “have some haters in the house.” He said he wanted to hear from those who came to “ride or die with the last real good guy.” Mostly boos.

Sami said it’s been an interesting week. He said he went toe to toe with Reigns, and Reigns said the man makes the championship rather than the champion makes the man. He asked who “the man” in WWE is, then. He said the alpha male is the smartest, the one who survives, “and that is me.” He said there are 8 billion people on the planet, and there’s only one WWE Champion. He listed wrestlers who are aiming for him.

He was interrupted by Rey Fenix’s music. Fenix walked out with the AAA Cruiserweight Title belt over his shoulder. He entered the ring and said that Sami has asked him if his brother Penta is going to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase against him. He said he told Sami he doesn’t know. He asked Sami if they’re still friends. He said he has a problem with Ricky Saints. He said if Sami disrespects his family, though, they’ll have a problem. Gargano stepped into Rey’s face. Sami said it’s okay and tried to keep everyone calm.

Sami said he’s always respected Fenix and they’ve gotten along. He said he just thinks his brother Penta should focus on Roman. He was interrupted by Trick Williams’s music.

Trick came out without Lil Yachty, but with the US Title belt wrapped around his waist. He told Fenix he feels his pain because he has an issue with Sami, too. He said Sami told him last week he doesn’t know how to survive. He said Sami puts no fear in his heart. He said he doesn’t feel the need to survive. He said he’s there to thrive, not survive. He said he’s only been there ten months and he’s only getting better. he said Sami’s been in the game 25 years, still trying to convince everyone that he knows what “it” is. He said, “It already beat your ass at WrestleMania.”

He approached Sami and told him he’s not king of the jungle and he’s the joke. He said only one of them knows how to look, talk, walk, and smell like the champion. He said when it comes to them, he’s the veteran and Sami is the rookie. Fans chanted, “Whoop that Trick!” He told Sami to give him a title match.

Sami, looking infazed, said, “Well, so much to unpack there.” He said Trick should be afraid of him. He said Trick has a silver tongue, but he has a tongue that is made of steel and it’s razor sharp. He said he could slice and dice him and expose every weakness in his game. He said he can see it all and he is operating on levels he can’t begin to understand.

He said he is a good guy and he wants Trick to enjoy what he has going. He said he’s having one of the best rookie years anyone’s had, but eventually everyone will determine “you don’t have ‘it’ because you don’t even know what ‘it’ is.” He said he’s a lot closer to sink or swim than he realizes. He told him sternly that he is swimming in deep waters. He held up his WWE Title. He said nothing has sharper teeth than him. He said he is no where closer to a WWE Title match now.

Trick asked where those sharp teeth where when he beat him. He said he’s not asking for a title match, he’s demanding it. He said if he won’t give it to him, he’ll beat it out of him. Gargano stepped in his way. Trick grabbed Gargano’s throat. Sami hit Trick from behind and then left the ring.

GM Nick Aldis stepped out onto the entrance and said he has a problem with them carrying on like they call the shots around there. He said he’s going to remind him of that by booking him and Gargano tonight against Trick & Fenix. Cole and Graves agreed that’s “a big time tag team match.”

-They went to Cole and Graves at ringside. They threw to a clip of Roxanne Perez pinning Chelsea Green after a Pop Rox two weeks ago on Raw.

-As Perez made her entrance, Cole noted this is her first chance at a World Title since arriving on the main roster. [c]

(1) CHELSEA GREEN vs. ROXANNE PEREZ

Green made her entrance after the break. The bell rang 22 minute into the hour. Graves said this is a chance for Perez to reach what she believes is her destiny. At 2:00 Green leaped onto Perez at ringside. Perez took over and they cut to a break. [c]

Back from the break, Perez ran into Green’s lifted knees. She pretended to have a brtoken nose, at which point Raquel Rodriguez ran to ringside and knocked Green off the top rope. She ducked out of the ref’s site. Perez hit a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Iyo Sky ran out to her music and fought with Rodriguez. Iyo head scissored Rodriguez. Perez leaped onto Sky at ringside. Back in the ring, Perez avoided a kick by Green and then went for Pop Rox. Green hit Unpretty Her for the three count.

WINNER: Green in 9:00 to retain the WWE Title.

(Keller’s Analysis: Some good action this match. A good win for Green, overcoming interference and landing her finisher for a decisive win.)

-Afterward, Liv Morgan attacked Green from behind as she was celebrating her win. Perez, Rodriguez, and Morgan got the better of Green and Morgan. Tiffany Stratton ran out with her MITB briefcase. She took Rodriguez over with a head scissors. Sky then hit Rodriguez with a top rope dropkick. Green, Sky, and Tiffany then isolated Morgan. Tiffany picked up her briefcase and thought about cashing it in. She decided to do so. Instead, Tiffany turned and hit Morgan with the briefcase to buy herself more time. Rodriguez and Perez dragged Morgan out of the ring. Fans booed.

(Keller’s Analysis: The execution of the tease of a cash-in was a little clunkier than usual.)

-A clip aired of last week’s show-closing angle with Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Baron Corbin. Cole said Corbin has blurred vision and an orbital bone bruise and cervical muscle strain due to the Cody punt kick and will thus be out indefinitely. They showed Cody’s bus with “Street Fighter” painted on the side. Cole congratulated Cody and Roman Reigns for being in the no. 1 movie, “Street Fighter.”

-Giulia made her entrance. [c]

-Outside the arena, Green thanked Sky and Tiffany. She said this could be the start of a friendship like she’s never had. She told Tiffany she didn’t know she was returning tonight.

(Keller’s Analysis: Tiffany’s acting continues to be industry-worst. She really should take classes. It just stands out. Her reactions times are premature, her posture is unnatural and feels practiced and cartoonish, and her facial expressions feel unnatural and pasted on.)

(2) BLAKE MONROE vs. GIULIA – Street Fight

The bell rang 42 minutes into the hour when Giulia attacked Blake at ringside as soon as she arrived. Cole said this is the first street fight on Smackdown in over six months. Graves said Monroe came to WWE with a lot of hype. Blake climbed onto the barricade. Guilia knocked her off balance and then pulled a kendo stick out from under the ring. Cole said this is Giulia’s first street fight ever and Blake’s second one ever. Giulia whipped Monroe into a stack of chairs at ringside, then celebrated. They cut to a double-box break at 3:00. [c/db]

Giulia hit Monroe with a kendo stick. They fought up the aisle to the entrance stage where Monroe took over. Cole said the referee explained to Monroe pins can only happen inside the ring because it’s not Falls Count Anywhere. They fought backstage anyway. Monroe sprayed Giulia with hair spray, then admired herself in a mirror conveniently placed right near them. Guilia threw her into the mirror and it shattered.

As Giulia pulled Monroe back to the entrance stage, Monroe head-butted her. Graves said Monroe is showing everyone she is just as tough as she is glamorous. Giulia took over and threw Monroe into the ring. She then leaped off the top rope with a missile dropkick at 9:00.

Giulia scored a near fall after a stomp kick to the back of her neck and head. Fans chanted, “We Want Tables!” As Giulia encouraged the chant, Monroe sprayed her with a fire extinguisher. Monroe then suplexed Giulia off the ringside steps onto a pile of chairs. Fans chanted, “Holy shit!” USA bleeped the chant. Monroe tossed Giulia back into the ring and landed a loose and sloppy-looking Neutralizer for the win.

WINNER: Monroe in 11:00.

(Keller’s Analysis: A suitable payoff to their odd feud.) [c]

-They showed Randy Orton backstage. Cole said he’d be out later.

-They showed Tyrese Halliburton wearing a Triple H jean jacket on his return to the NBA. He also noted Roman Reigns’s entrance theme was used during the Los Angeles Lakers’ home opener introductions.

[HOUR TWO]

-Orton’s music played and he made his way to the ring.

Advertised Matches & Appearances

Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley vs. Michin & B-Fab – WWE Tag Team Championship match

The MFTs (Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga) vs. Bakusai (Shinsuke Nakamura & Kyoki)

THANK YOU FOR VISITING

WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS OCTOBER 23, 2026 ONTARIO, CALIF.
