We are happy with the outcome.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Both Lawler and McBride were charged with domestic violence following a late-night argument that brought out police when McBride called 911. The police reported physical violence, which Lawler downplayed in a Memphis radio station interview after being arrested.<\/p>\n<p>The judge requested a two-week &#8220;cooling off period&#8221;\u00a0on June 20 before the charges were re-visited on Friday. In addition to charges being dropped, Lawler and McBride will also have the incident expunged from their records.<\/p>\n<p><strong>June 20 Court Hearing Update<\/strong><\/p><div id=\"pwtor-1253507967\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>WWE announcer Jerry Lawler and his fiancee, Lauryn McBride, appeared in Memphis court on Monday morning to follow up on their domestic violence arrest late Thursday\/early Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The result was Judge William Turner setting bond conditions that they &#8220;stay away from each other,&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commercialappeal.com\/news\/courts\/wrestler-jerry-lawler-appears-in-court-for-domestic-assault-charge-3581747d-079a-48bf-e053-0100007f7-383633431.html\" target=\"_blank\">reports the Memphis Commercial Appeal newspaper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Both Lawler and McBride were joined by their attorneys at the hearing, where the judge met with each separately to address the situation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Those are standard bail conditions in a domestic violence case,&#8221; said McBride&#8217;s attorney Mark Mesler. &#8220;No contact, no communicating, no texts, no phone calls.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Therefore,\u00a0the\u00a0charges against both Lawler and McBride were not officially dismissed, as Lawler hoped for.\u00a0The next court hearing is July 1, according to the newspaper.<\/p>\n<p>Lawler is currently &#8220;suspended indefinitely&#8221; by WWE. It remains to be seen if a lack of clear resolution to the legal matter affects Lawler&#8217;s standing with the company before July 1. Lawler was on the Smackdown announce team, and WWE tapes Smackdown Tuesday in Arizona.<\/p>\n<p>Lawler downplayed the domestic violence incident in a <a href=\"http:\/\/vip.pwtorch.com\/2016\/06\/18\/jerry-lawler-interview-talks-to-memphis-radio-station-about-domestic-arrest-night-at-jail-wwe-future-fiancees-claims-to-police-mondays-court-appearance-more\/\">Memphis radio interview on Saturday<\/a>, saying he believes it was a private, heated argument that turned public when Lauryn, intoxicated, called 911 and hung up.
