{"id":24843,"date":"2016-07-06T16:10:31","date_gmt":"2016-07-06T21:10:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/?p=24843"},"modified":"2016-07-07T21:18:59","modified_gmt":"2016-07-08T02:18:59","slug":"74-raw-tv-ratings-raw-falls-2-0-first-time-two-decades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2016\/07\/06\/74-raw-tv-ratings-raw-falls-2-0-first-time-two-decades\/","title":{"rendered":"7\/4 Raw TV Ratings &#8211; Raw falls below 2.0 for first time in two decades"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pwtor-623299460\" class=\"pwtor-before-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><hr \/><b>SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)... <\/b>\r\n\r\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/widget.spreaker.com\/player?show_id=3076978&theme=light&playlist=false&playlist-continuous=false&autoplay=false&live-autoplay=false&chapters-image=true&episode_image_position=right&hide-logo=false&hide-likes=false&hide-comments=false&hide-sharing=false&hide-download=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"140px\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\r\n<hr \/><\/div><p>WWE Raw fell below a 2.o TV rating by a significant margin for the &#8220;Fourth of July&#8221; edition of WWE Raw, establishing an historical low-point for Raw.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WWE Raw TV Ratings Tracking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>July 4:\u00a0<\/strong>WWE Raw scored a 1.87 TV rating, down 15.4 percent from last week&#8217;s 2.21 rating.<\/p>\n<p>After 1,200+ episodes, this week&#8217;s Raw ranks\u00a0in the Bottom 3\u00a0lowest ratings in the history of the show, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2016\/06\/14\/inside-wwes-historically-low-raw-tv-rating-including-can-learned-20-years-ago\/\">just above a few episodes in the mid-1990s that scored at 1.8<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Raw&#8217;s three hours averaged 2.658 million viewers, down 14.1 percent (about 450,000 viewers) from last week.<\/p>\n<p>All three hours hovered around the same figure throughout the show.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Hour: 2.663 million viewers (down 433,000\u00a0from last week)<\/li>\n<li>Second Hour: 2.668 million viewers (down 505,000 from last week)<\/li>\n<li>Third Hour: 2.643 million viewers (down 368,000 from last week)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To add insult to injury, the third hour declined &#8211; even by one percent &#8211; for the 16th consecutive week.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; DEMOGRAPHICS: Two out of three key demos fell below the June 13 episode&#8217;s historical low point (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pwtorch.com\/site\/2016\/06\/14\/613-wwe-raw-tv-ratings-raw-falls-historical-low-point\/\">the episode that scored a 2.03 TV rating<\/a>).<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-3511139177\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Only males 18-34 showed signs of life this week, topping the June 13 airing.\u00a0Meanwhile, adults 18-49 was down two-tenths of a rating and males 18-49 was down nearly three-tenths (19 percent).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Historically, the Fourth of July has not been kind to Raw.<\/p>\n<p>On July 4, 2011, Raw&#8217;s TV rating fell 24 percent and the viewing audience fell 25 percent from the previous week&#8217;s show.
