Punk got paid very well for his two-minute loss to Mickey Gall in the special attraction bout of UFC 203 Saturday night in Cleveland.<\/p>\n<p>Punk earned a $500,000 fighter salary, according to payouts released by the Ohio Athletic Commission on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Punk was the third-highest-paid fighter on the night, trailing main event fighters Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem.<\/p>\n<p>Punk&#8217;s opponent, Mickey Gall, received $30,000, a fraction of Punk&#8217;s pay-out.<\/p>\n<p>UFC viewed Punk as one of the key draws for the PPV, rewarding him with half-a-million dollars to presumably help boost PPV buys.
