There is usually a sense of bravado, that perhaps someone in WWE will read the quote and be impressed by the boast.<\/p>\n<p>Current IC champion Kevin Owens took a different approach in a new interview, sounding humble about wanting the matches. Owens said he wants to see if he &#8220;can hang&#8221; with Lesnar in a match and he wants to experience being in the ring with Taker if he can get to the level of\u00a0being considered for one of Taker&#8217;s remaining matches.<\/p>\n<p>Asked on the <a href=\"http:\/\/apple.co\/1WdQMzI\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Like Father Like Son&#8221; podcast with Jeramie McPeek of the Phoenix Suns<\/a> who he wants to face at WrestleMania 32, Owens replied:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019ve answered this question a couple of times and my answer is always Brock Lesnar, because I\u2019d just love to be in the ring with him and see what it\u2019s like. There\u2019s nobody quite like Brock Lesnar, as far as pure strength and viciousness and everything. I\u2019d love to see if I could hang with him and see how much I could hurt him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;d love to get in the ring with The Undertaker one day, too. I feel like that&#8217;s a long shot, I guess, because he wrestles on a limited basis and when he does, it&#8217;s always a huge deal. But, hopefully I can position myself in the next year or so to be seen as a viable opponent for the Undertaker, because it would be a thrill to be in the ring with him at WrestleMania or anywhere. It can be on a Raw or a live event, I don&#8217;t really care. I&#8217;d just love to be in the ring with him. I feel like that would be an experience I&#8217;d never forget.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Going back to earlier this year when Owens was introduced in a feud with current top star John Cena, Owens also talked about who his now-popular young son was\u00a0cheering.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think he was pretty split honestly. He\u2019s always been a big John Cena fan, but all of a sudden he\u2019s against his dad. I think he kind feels like he can\u2019t cheer against me, but at the same time he wants me to do good, so I think he was pretty split down the middle and maybe a bit conflicted. But he\u2019s met John, and he and John known each other.
