Bizzare match with two weird pairings.<\/p>\n<p>(4) Shinsuke Nakamura &amp; A.J. Styles defeated Baron Corbin &amp; Kevin Owens when Nakamura pinned Corbin after a Kinshasa. This was the Match of the Night. Of note in this match, Kevin Owens was over, being from Montreal. Also Corbin had a brand new entrance and theme song.<\/p>\n<p>Intermission (brief)<\/p>\n<p>(5) Rusev defeated Ty Dillinger via submission with the Accolade. Pretty much an extended squash. Lots of &#8220;We want Lana&#8221; chants.<\/p>\n<p>(6) Natalya defeated Charlotte via rollup with an handful of tights. Good back and forth match that the crowd was into.<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-497885423\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>(7) Jinder Mahal (w\/The Singh Brothers) pinned Sami Zayn with his cobra clutch slam to retain the WWE Championship. Pat Patterson was introduced before the match to sit at ringside.\u00a0Zayn had the match won at one point, but the Singh brothers put Jinder&#8217;s foot on the ropes to break the pinfall attempt.<\/p>\n<p>After the match, Mahal and the Singhs put the boots to Zayn and were about to do the same to Patterson when Kevin Owens music hit for the save. Owens and Zayn took out one of the Singh Brothers with Helluva Kick\/Pop up Powerbomb Combo. After a brief staredown, Owens left the ring without shaking Sami&#8217;s hand just to keep kayfabe alive! Zayn then celebrated with the Montreal fans to send people home happy.<\/p>\n<p>All in all a pretty good show with a hot crowd during almost the entire show.
