This came four days after their annual biggest PPV, &#8220;Bound for Glory,&#8221; and was the first show from a new set of tapings in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Discovery Communications has announced that they have agreed to a deal with the promotion to broadcast New Japan Pro Wrestling on their new Indian channel DSport, which launched earlier this year. This will bring NJPW to over 70 million homes across the nation, a level comparable to Impact Wrestling\u2019s potential U.S. market on Pop TV of 75 million homes. By comparison, the USA Network (Raw and Smackdown) is available in 96 million homes in the US.\u00a0Impact Wrestling taped episodes of their weekly show on a tour in the country earlier this year and Jinder Mahal\u2019s push in WWE has been a part of that company\u2019s promotional push in India.\u00a0Besides New Japan Pro Wrestling, DSport also airs Ring Of Honor and Lucha Underground in India. He said\u00a0his match with Kenny Omega is a throwback to the &#8217;80s when superstars would go overseas for matches and that this match pushes promotions to think more and be more creative, which ultimately is good for the pro wrestling business. He said that he vs. Kenny Omega happening in Japan is truly a special, once-in-a-lifetime match and has a unique mystique about it happening in Japan rather than the United States.
