The company makes desperate play after desperate play to make him their number one star &#8211; with limited success. How do they do it? What do they do?<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m <b>Tom Colohue<\/b> and this is the <b>Monday Night Reigns-o-Meter.<\/b><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><b>Monday Night Reigns-o-Meter<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Something very unexpected happened on Monday Night Raw last night. It was a huge change in format, a massively out of the blue change that set the world talking, created a new hero from an old hero and changed the way that we will all look at wrestling forever.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s right, Roman Reigns lost a match.<\/p>\n<p>Has Reigns ever actually beaten Rollins?<\/p>\n<p>Now before we all launch into our usual crisis management systems, before hell rises, earthquakes shake the Welsh coast and people start forgetting Apollo\u2019s surname, let us all take a deep breath in silent respect of Roman\u2019s upcoming Elimination Chamber victory. Let us respect how good he made Seth Rollins appear, ready for Seth to be speared and eliminated by your boy Roman at the upcoming event.<\/p>\n<p>You see, even when Roman Reigns is beaten by the odds, it is merely a political play that allows him to stockpile a beating of the odds in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Roman Reigns, wearing his heel face since The Shield officially disbanded again back in that segment all of us remember very well, opens the show. He runs down his list of opponents, from most heel (John Cena) all the way up to most face. (Braun Strowman) The promo officially ends there with the arrival of Seth Rollins but technically the promo continues in all of our hearts.<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-2681246161\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Is this Elimination Chamber match the most beard in one match at one time in history? Asking for a friend who\u2019s into that.<\/p>\n<p>To the shock of everyone, the crowd choose to support Seth Rollins with a Burn It Down chant instead of using their usual anti-Roman chants that actually don\u2019t get anyone over. Seth seems suitably shocked.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uu99R0zAUEw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Roman, fighting for his chance to be the second man to main event Wrestlemania four times in a row on Sunday actually lacks stakes in this one. He makes stringent use of his bad guy moveset, as he has done in the past against Styles and The Undertaker, and makes angry faces at the camera.<\/p>\n<p>Naturally, Roman Reigns can afford to lose this match, and that\u2019s definitely why he did so. I mean, sure, he could have had a big performance like Seth Rollins did. In fact, we all know he could have gone further and beaten everyone at once but in reality, Roman is looking out for his buddy Sethy, giving him a big win on TV in a match Roman didn\u2019t need to be winning.<\/p>\n<p>Also, one supposed head butt was most definitely a rake to the eyes. Dirty boy. Seth\u2019s faceplant frog splash was also something you really can\u2019t miss. It\u2019s a glorious moment of face to mat. I\u2019m really excited for Seth to move to Smackdown Live where he belongs.<\/p>\n<p>Now, as I mentioned, Roman Reigns lost this match. I could go on with the match but this isn\u2019t the Sethometer, is it? His performance was a big deal because Seth isn\u2019t the one who always beats the odds but with no more Roman there really isn\u2019t much more to talk about.
