Include photos of the ring, of wrestlers, or the atmosphere in the arena and entrance stage, too.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The building holds a little over 2,000 for a concert. I&#8217;d estimate attendance tonight was between 800 to 1,000. All the seats were filled, but there was some room in the standing sections. \u00a0It\u2019s slightly hard to gauge as it isn\u2019t a traditional wrestling venue.<\/p>\n<p>Before the first match started, Vic Joseph welcomed us and encouraged the liberal usage of the #NXTColumbus hashtag. \u00a0We were to use the hashtag to vote on which NXT debut we\u2019d like to relive on the tron. \u00a0The options were Charlotte Flair, Finn Balor, or Shinsuke Nakamura. Balor won the poll overwhelmingly.<\/p>\n<p>(1) Street Profits defeated Cezar Bononi &amp; Adrian Jaoude by pinfall. \u00a0Montez Ford showed a lot of personality in this match. \u00a0Finish came when Angelo Dawson hit a spine buster on Jaoude followed by a frog splash by Ford. \u00a0Good energy.<\/p>\n<p>(2) Dakota Kai defeated Lacey Evans by pinfall. \u00a0Crowd was pretty lukewarm for Lacey, but she tried hard with her heel mannerisms. \u00a0Kai scored the pin after a top rope Coup de Grace double foot stop. \u00a0Shayna Baszler ran in after the match and attacked Kai. \u00a0More on the that later.<\/p>\n<p>(3) Lars Sullivan defeated Chris Dijack. \u00a0Crowd was in to Sullivan. \u00a0Nice spot where Sullivan missed a top rope headbutt attempt and Dijack followed up with a pretty top rope moonsault. \u00a0Sullivan connected with the Freak Accident and it was good for three. \u00a0The crowd chanted one more time and Sullivan obliged by returning to the ring and flooring Dijack again with a second Freak Accident.<\/p>\n<p>(4) Undisputed Era defeated Heavy Machinery &amp; Kassius Ohno by pinfall. \u00a0Adam Cole was the most over talent so far on the show. \u00a0Otis Dozovic stole this match when he hit a three flop worm across the ring and dropped an elbow on birthday boy Kyle O\u2019Reilly. \u00a0Toward the end, everyone ended up outside the ring, Ohno teased a suicide dive but Cole surprised him with the schoolboy roll up.<\/p>\n<p>Intermission<\/p><div id=\"pwtor-1744974067\" class=\"pwtor-content pwtor-entity-placement\"><div align=\"center\" data-freestar-ad=\"__336x280 __336x280\" id=\"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\">\r\n  <script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\r\n    freestar.config.enabled_slots.push({ placementName: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\", slotId: \"pwtorchcom_test_300x250\" });\r\n  <\/script>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>(5) Shayna Baszler defeated Kairi Sane by disqualification. \u00a0Baszler methodically worked over Sane\u2019s arm during the match. \u00a0Sane would let out primal screams with small flurries of offense, but then get shut down by the more tactical Shayna. \u00a0Baszler landed a series of knee strikes and lifted a lifeless Sane off the mat at two. \u00a0Dakota Kai had seen enough and came out from backstage, striking Baszler and drawing the DQ. \u00a0Sane hit the big elbow on Baszler to end the match happy.<\/p>\n<p>(7) Aleister Black defeated Velveteen Dream by pinfall. \u00a0Both guys were super over with this crowd as the biggest pops of the night were these two. \u00a0The crowd launched its first \u201cThis is awesome\u201d chant before they even locked up. \u00a0Dream tried his crawling taunt and was met mid-ring by a staring Black. \u00a0\u201cThis is awesome\u201d part two, followed by a \u201cSay his name!\u201d chant. \u00a0Dream would mock Black\u2019s cross-legged sitting style and caught a kick to the head for his troubles. \u00a0Black delivered a big powerbomb from underneath in the corner. \u00a0\u201cThis is awesome\u201d part three. \u00a0Dream missed a springboard top rope splash. \u00a0Black landed a hard kick. \u00a0Dream countered with a spike DDT for a very near fall. \u00a0\u201cHoly sh&#8211;\u201d chants rang out. \u00a0Dream lifted Black, yelled \u201cSay my name,\u201d and caught a Black Mass for the loss.<\/p>\n<p>(8) Johnny Gargano &amp; Candice LeRae defeated Andrade Cien Almas &amp; Zelina Vega by submission in a mixed tag match. \u00a0Crowd was hot for both teams, but just a notch below the previous match. \u00a0Basic work with the men early on. Gargano went to hot tag LeRae, but Vega was there just in time to pull LeRae off the apron. \u00a0Gagano tagged LeRae. \u00a0She hit an impressive top rope huracanrana on Almas before Vega entered the ring. \u00a0Gagano and LeRae hit spears on their foes for a near fall. \u00a0Almas got Gargano down in the corner and LeRae stepped in between them to protect Johnny. \u00a0Almas teased like he\u2019d fight LeRae if he had to. \u00a0LeRae pulled her hair back in a ponytail and said let\u2019s go. \u00a0Almas charged, but LeRae ducked and grappled Vega instead. Mr. and Mrs. Gargano Escapes for the stereo tapout in the center of the ring.<\/p>\n<p>Afterward Gargano thanked the crowd for their energy and said he was a proud Ohioan. \u00a0Playing off Wednesday\u2019s events, Gargano said we should look at the bright side because at least Candice still has a job in NXT. \u00a0The crowd chanted \u201cJohnny Mania!\u201d Gargano paused his promo and hit the signature Hulk Hogan poses. \u00a0He closed by saying that whether he was there or not, he will always be NXT and that we must keep coming to shows because we too are NXT.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>If you attend a live event, please sent a report to <a href=\"mailto:pwtorch@pwtorch.com\">pwtorch@pwtorch.com<\/a>.
